It's been about a week since the incident, Steven hasn't left his room since, not for any reason. He is worrying even Lauren, maybe even David a little. Today that has changed, he has emerged from his room with a greeinish yellow bruise on his cheek. He always had bruised easily, even in his village, when he had been hit, he had always bruised afterward. All of Ethellia usually bruised easily. There are secrets hidden there in Ethellia. Secrets behind the church of HERO.
The group had been peacefully enjoying one of the games that Quincy had set up, a game from his and Lauren's village. It was like a workout almost, a reason to why quincy was fit most likely. Steven just looks in on them silently, watching, observing. David is the first to see him, "Well, looks like the Ethellian is finally here." his voice is a little cold, annoyed.
He may be concerned but that does not override his dislike for Ethellians. Lauren turns to look at him, an unreadble expression crosses her features when she sees the bruise she caused. It looks almost like guilt to Steven, but he has learned to keep grudges, but he knows how to ignore such grudges as though they do not exist. He knows how to ignore a lot of things like they do not exist, like his emotions for example. Those were beat out of him.
I am sharing secrets now though, saying they were beat out of him. A lot of things were beat into and out of him. But I truely am sharing more than I should, these are secrets afterall. Lets get back on track, alright. Lauren looks at Steven with that unreadable expression, a hint of guilt in her eyes as she sees the bruise she caused on his cheek.
She does not apologize, she just turns around, no longer facing him, she greets him, her tone is not as cold as it usually is, "Hello, Steven." She mumbles, her voice not as powerful as usual either. "Hello, lauren." He says, voice holding the same montonous cold it usually does. The rest of the group awknowledges Stevens presence, turning to look at him.
This is awkward.
The way they just stare at each other.
No words.
Just blinking.
Just looking.
Quincy is the first to speak.
"Lauren. You went to far."
She does not respond.
She agrees.
Isnt it funny, how she feels bad now.
