Few days later
Giggles filled the backyard of the Kim mansion. A bunny hoped around whilst being chased by a 28 year old man who seemed to let go off everything that was bothering him.
At a distance his friends looked at him have fun, taking sips of hot chocolate from their various cups, the sweet smell of chocolate filling their noses.
"How is Jimin so excited to play with the bunny? As if you bought it for him." One of them stated relaxing on his chair.
"I don't know Namjoon Hyung. Haven't seen him this excited since the death of his parents. Maybe adopting the bunny wasn't a bad idea." The other man replied.
"Right! By the way have you thought about how you will handle the gang that messed with us the last time" Namjoon asked.
"Ah, about that I have already taken care of it so don't worry. The one I am quite surprised about is Kang. He seemed to have been silenced since the day we took down one of his warehouses. I wonder how he is doing?" Taehyung replied making Namjoon chuckle before replied.
"Don't pretend like you care about him. I don't know what is holding you from killing him, you certainly despise him a lot" Namjoon uttered taken yet another sip from his cup.
"Kill? No, I don't want to kill him. I want to take him apart bit by bit till he breaks down, never to regain himself again." Taehyung replied placing his empty cup on the table in front of them.
"Hm, I get it. What exactly did he do to you?" Namjoon questioned, careful not to trigger Taehyung.
"I told you right he burnt down my childhood home." Taehyung replied making Namjoon frown.
" You have said this before,Tae. I know that isn't the only reason you hate him." Namjoon spoke making Taehyung to turn and face him, looking at him dead in the eyes.
"He burnt it down with all the children in it" Taehyung retorted and Namjoon choked on his hot chocolate, horrified at the new revelation.
"What the fuck, Tae? How can you say it so calmly. In fact, that man doesn't deserve to live another day. Why are you giving him more time?" Namjoon spoke after regaining his posture.
"I told you right, he doesn't deserve an easy death. Also, he definitely isn't alone. There is someone that I want to get to by using him. The real mastermind behind this." Taehyung replied.
"If he burnt down your child hood home. How did you survive?" Namjoon asked.
"Oh, I was out to get ice cream. Lucky me!" Taehyung said and chuckled but only he knew they was nothing to chuckle about.
He watched the building burn down to ashes whilst the fire service personnel tried to control it in vain. He watched as the lives of innocent children left them just like how screams left their mouths as the fire blazed with fury sending all of them to an early death.
Namjoon being as observant as usual notice the tears that was threatening to spill from Tae's eyes as he struggled to remain indifferent. He clenched his jaws and fists, all in the efforts to prevent himself from crying.
Namjoon reached out his hand and delicately took Taehyung's hand in his , slowly opening up the fist before giving soothing rubs on the back of his hands.
Taehyung breathed out heavily as he felt the touches that reminded him that he had someone for him. He let his tears flow down his cheeks making no sound as he cried.
He just shared a part of his secret past and felt overwhelmed with all the emotions. They both said in silence with Namjoon consoling him at a safe distance. Not too close, not too far.
