Author's pov
Seokjin glared at the man in front of him. The man wasn't making anything easy for him. He arrested the man at the raid they did at the racing ground today and judging from the way he was dressed he assumed the man must be the sponsor, if not the owner of the entire underground racing business but this man claims to know nothing stressing the fuck out of him. Every question they asked earned a negative response from the man and they were not getting anywhere with their investigation.
"Listen mister, you have to answer our questions in order to leave from here."Seokjin said looking at the man.
The man looked straight at him without giving a response to Seokjin's statement.
"You wouldn't tell us your name neither will you answer the questions I asked about the underground racing business I assume you run." Seokjin said raising his voice a bit but still got no response.
Seokjin sighed and decide to leave from there.
"I am leaving you to yourself for a moment. Think about my questions, I will ask you again when I come back. I hope you make the right decision." Seokjin said and walked out of the investigation room.
He met face to face to Hoseok as soon as he stepped out of the room.
"Have you gotten anything?" Hoseok asked eagerly.
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing." Seokjin replied and hoseok sighed slumping his shoulders.
"Aish, so frustrating." Hoseok said
"I know right." Seokjin replied tiredly.
"Let's grab some coffee before you go back in."Hoseok suggested and Seokjin nodded and they both walked towards the cafeteria.
Back to Namjoon
Namjoon was frustrated. In all his years of doing illegal business, he has never been arrested before. So he was getting frustrated with the continuous questions thrown at him by the handsome police officer.
Yes, handsome police officer, if it was in a different situation, he would have shot a shot at the police officer but definitely not in this situation.
He doesn't understand stand why the police officer was asking him so much about underground racing. It was his first time for God's sake and somehow he got caught in his very first time there. But wait who the hell is Kang Junghyun?
Wait? Don't tell me. That is ..... Namjoon thought but was startled at the opening of the door revealing Seokjin.
"Are you ready to speak now?" Seokjin asked taking a seat in front of him. He carefully placed a cup of instant coffee infront of Namjoon.
"Take a sip. Maybe it will help you answer my questions more clearly." Seokjin said gesturing at the cup earning a suspicious look from Namjoon.
"Now don't look at me like that. In this place, I am a police officer and you are a supposed criminal so you don't have to throw looks of suspicion at me." Seokjin said looking down at the laptop in front of him to open a new word document for the witness statement from Namjoon.
"And who made those rules." Namjoon finally spoke his first full sentence after coming here making Seokjin look up abruptly.
"Woah, you can speak full sentences, that's great. Let's continue our report now." Seokjin said enthusiastically.
"I have one question to ask before." Namjoon said and Seokjin gestured at him to ask.
"Why do you think I am the one running the underground racing business?" Namjoon asked
