What happened?" asked the blonde, now seated on the edge of her seat.

"I cried like a baby. It happened so suddenly and unexpectedly. I didn't know how to react. It was too much; everything was perfect. My life with him was perfect."

"What was I supposed to feel? Sad for being heartbroken? Angry for telling me the truth? That's what I thought before but now thinking about it. I was drowning."

"That was the last time she saw him. He was gone the next. No one spoke of him or mentioned his name at all. It was like he never existed. That's crazy." Jackson finishes, threading her fingers through the blonde strands.
