Richard "Richie" Spears is friends with Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, Shaggy Rogers, and their best dog, Scooby, as where goes on mystery on whenever they goes, as where Richie have a crush on Daphne Blake.

Richie struggles the best he could, as he and Daphne were carried by the ghost that the gang is trying to capture, the Luna Ghost.
"Let go of us!" Daphne yelled at the Luna Ghost.
The Luna ghost flies inside the warehouse, where it is a doll factory, called "Wow- O Toy Factory," and Richie is not a big fan of when it comes to dolls.
"Fred, Velma, Shaggy, can you guys hurry it up? This ghost keeps -"
Richie was cut off when Daphne yelped, which made Richie struggle a bit more against the ghost.

Velma is holding a walkie-talkie as she is at the catwalk, "Jinkies."
Meanwhile, Fred is swinging the fire hose and hearing Velma on the walkie-talkie, "Fred?, Fred?, can you hear me?"
"Fredster here, Velms." Fred answered.
"Shockly, Daphne have been captured again." Velma said to Fred, annoyed. "But with Richie this time."
Fred nodded.
Even when Richie tries to protect Daphne by any monster, he still ends up being captured along with Daphne.
"That's okay. When the Luna Ghost rounds the corner with Daphne. Shaggy and Scooby will pop out of the barrel." Velma continues
"You'll activate the conveyor belt, spilling the oil onto the floor." Fred said to Velma
"Just remember my plan." Velma finishes as she gets ready to capture the Luna Ghost.
Both Shaggy and Scooby are inside the barrel, although Scooby is starting to shake from being scared, in which the Luna Ghost comes down and sees it.
The Luna Ghost sees Scooby's tail sticking out of the barrel, while Shaggy and Scooby are fighting over of who is shaking, and makes the Luna Ghost touch Scooby's tail with fire and makes Shaggy come out of the barrel.
Scooby Doo see the Luna Ghost, who is still holding both Daphne and Richie and where Daphne and Richie are bound and gagged now, get scared, and try to warn Shaggy about it, where Shaggy starting to get confused of it.
"Scooby?, what's wrong?" Shaggy asked Scooby as Scooby continues to warn him.
Shaggy froze, "Like, there's a ghost right behind me, isn't there?"
Shaggy turns to see the Luna ghost, who is about to shoot fire at the two, as where Shaggy and Scooby get scared and hide under the barrel again but spill oil on the floor.
Shaggy tries to run away from the ghost but can't due to the oil.
"Run!"
"Like, I'm trying, buddy!"
That is where Velma sees the ghost with the walkie-talkie in her hand and turns on the factory machine, "Fred, Now!"
That is where Fred uses the water hose on the ghost but gets blocked by Shaggy and Scooby, who are starting running now from the oil.
The water hose spray Velma so much, it makes her to about to fall off from the cat walk, but a chain caught her foot as Fred get himself cover by his own net.
"Sorry Velma." Fred responded
Velma crossed her arms in annoyance as she was upside down now, "I know, Fred."
"Where the ghost!?" Shaggy asked Scooby as he continued to run.
"Right behind us!" Scooby said to Shaggy, but then see a skateboard on the floor.
"Skateboard!" Scooby yelled at Shaggy.
Shaggy ride the skateboard now to get away from the Luna Ghost, who is behind them now.
Shaggy goes through the machine, as where it ends of where part of the barrel breaks to reveal Shaggy's face and where Shaggy see a hook to let Scooby grab on.
"Hold on, Scoob!" Shaggy yelled as Scooby grabbed the hook and started swinging
The Luna Ghost landed on the floor and turned to Shaggy and Scooby, who was coming towards the Luna Ghost, Daphne, and Richie.
"Oh no." Richie thought to himself as all five of them crash into a bunch of dolls
Fred and Velma come to the crash and relieve that the ghost is finally captured but worry about their friends.
"Daphne, Richie? Are you guys okay?" Velma asked.
Daphne angery takes off her gag as she gives Velma and Fred a look, "I'm so over this Damsel- In- Distress nonsense."
Richie comes out of the doll pile as he also takes his gag off and glares at Velma and Fred, "Me too."
Shaggy was glad that Shaggy was okay, as where the Mystery Machine crashed into the factory, to reveal theirs self as Pamla Anderson.
An bunch of fangirls comes out of nowhere and starts to get excited to see Fred and Richie.
Richie gets confused by this as one of the fans untied his hands as Fred starts to give autograph to the other fangirls.
Pamla hugs Fred, and she says, "Thank you two so much for saving the factory."
"Wait, what?" Richie asked, but Pamla kissed Richie on the cheek.
Daphne sees it as she becomes a bit angry about why a girl can kiss someone boyfriend, whose girlfriend is here!?
Two officers grab the Luna Ghost as where Fred starts to unmask the ghost to reveal a man.
"Old Man Smithers?"
"The creepy Janitor?" Pamla asked
"Smithers wanted revenge after you refused to go out with him." Fred answered to the blonde girl.
"How convince!" Richie said to Fred, in which everyone looks at him
Smithers ignore this and turn to Pamla, "How could you, Pamela? I am a lover boy of George Clooney-an proportions."
"Fred, how was the ghost able to fly?" The news reporter asked
"I can answer that. Watch." Velma said as she took Smither's costume off to reveal a balloon behind it.
"These balloons fill with a highly potent helium synthesis, giving the Luna Ghost his weightless appearance." Velma continues.
"I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and your dumb dog! I'll get you for this!" Smithers yelled at the gang
Richie smiled as he turned to Scooby, who was about to say his catchphrase,
"Scooby-dooby-doo!"
