With it now being Christmas break Deon had some free time and some space to think he once again summons her and Mercury stood calmly before Deon, her presence both grounding and inspiring. For months, she had been training him, guiding him through each phase of mastering his unique powers. Today was the culmination of all their hard work. Deon had grown from an unsure teenager into a confident, powerful Spider-Man with abilities far beyond what he had ever imagined.

"Deon," Mercury began, her voice steady but encouraging, "let's review your abilities. Mastery isn't just about strength; it's about understanding how and when to use each skill. You've come far, but now it's time to refine every detail."

Deon nodded, eager to begin. Mercury raised her hand, and one by one, she listed his abilities, ensuring Deon fully grasped their potential.

Copy & Paste

Deon had developed the remarkable ability to copy and store both objects and living beings into a pocket dimension—a space where time stood still. With a simple thought, he could summon them back in the exact condition they were in when stored.

"You've demonstrated impressive control over this ability," Mercury said, her eyes focused on Deon. "But remember, the real strength lies in how you use it strategically. You can store equipment, allies, even dangerous objects during battle, but the key is knowing when to pull them out."

Deon thought back to a recent fight, where he had hidden a broken web-shooter mid-battle, only to retrieve it fully repaired moments later. He smiled, realizing how versatile the ability had become.

Clockwork

Time manipulation was arguably Deon's most complex ability. He could create spheres of time distortion, where time would either freeze, slow, or rewind. It was a power that required immense focus and precision.

"You've mastered the delicate balance of manipulating time," Mercury said with pride. "But remember, the larger the sphere, the more energy it drains and the shorter the effect lasts. Use it in small bursts to control key moments in battle. Time is your most valuable weapon, but it's also your greatest responsibility."

Deon nodded, recalling the feeling of pausing time to save a group of civilians from falling debris, then rewinding the moment to fix the damage entirely. The ability gave him a godlike edge, but Mercury's words echoed in his mind: with great power comes great responsibility.

Peak Human Condition

Physically, Deon was at the peak of human potential. His strength, speed, reflexes, and endurance had all been enhanced far beyond normal limits. He could outrun vehicles, lift heavy debris, and react to danger before most people could even process it.

"Your physical abilities are exceptional," Mercury said. "But don't get comfortable. Always push your limits, because the stronger you become, the greater the challenges you'll face. Never stop training."

Deon had already experienced what it meant to push his body to the brink during patrols, realizing that even with peak human condition, there was always room to grow.

Psychokinesis

Deon had also mastered psychokinesis—the ability to lift, move, and manipulate objects with his mind. He could control multiple objects at once, even using them as shields or weapons in battle.

"You've gained incredible control over your telekinetic abilities," Mercury acknowledged. "But the true strength of psychokinesis lies in finesse. The more you focus on precision, the more versatile this power becomes."

Deon had begun to see how psychokinesis could be used not just in combat but in everyday hero work—rescuing civilians from dangerous situations or lifting obstacles without putting anyone in harm's way.
