Two out of four.
She had been asleep for a while—or so it felt like it. Felt like she had been asleep for decades. She felt different though. Felt as if she could feel her body's condition a whole lot more—could tell it was doing great. She could feel her blood vessels rushing through veins—could hear her heartbeat—could hear the slight creak of her bones as she moved.
Well, she'd gotten her powers finally. Maybe this trip wasn't a complete bust—she'd felt as if she wasn't herself in that moment. She was filled with so much anger and fear the moment her powers had awakened; she'd never forget what she thought she'd had seen.
Kira looked as if she had been completely swallowed—she was pitch black, she wasn't hallucinating—she had seen it. She was so far away—but she swore there wasn't a hint of life in her body. But—it'd been fake. Was that battle a test for her that entire time?
And now, she was waking up—at first, she only saw white. After seeing black for such a long time—it wasn't a relief at all. Though, she soon found out that was only the light coming from the ceiling fan. Was she in heaven? It was bright. She saw a girl with soft brown skin, beautiful brown hair—so straight so she wanted to run her hands through it. And those big eyes looking down at her. Was that what angels looked like?
As her vision cleared up though—it in fact was not an angel. It was just Lilly. Who was staring down at her Nya with a soft frown, Nya's head currently resting in her lap. She had nearly blushed at her own thoughts though, silly to think that Lilly was an angel.
"Nya? Are you awake?" Lilly questioned, having placed her hand on her forehead. She'd been burning up since she'd fallen asleep. Though—she didn't seem to be sick or sweating. She felt fine—better than how cold her touch usually was. Warm, and welcoming.
"You're got your powers, though! How do you feel? Feel powerful? Feel how you're supposed to? They told me what happened—you killing Ms. Kaida's clone and stuff..."
Nya was quiet as she looked up at Lilly, watching her talk. For some reason, she could feel her heartbeat—both of theirs. As if she was hypersensitive to it, she could also hear her blood rushing through her own veins. She could also hear her heartbeat beating at exactly one hundred and four beats per minute.
"Did you get your powers? You seem different..." Nya mumbled quietly, her eyes still looking up towards Lilly, her world was still slightly spinning.
"Unfortunately, no, for now it's still just you and Kira. Do I feel different?" Lilly questioned, removing her hand from Nya's forehead. Though Nya simply grabbed it and placed it right back into its original spot.
"No, you look different though."
"How so?"
"Prettier."
It was quiet, Lilly blinked still looking down at her. What did she mean by that?? She thought she still looked the same—and like an idiot, of course she smiled. Quickly covering Nya's eyes so she wouldn't see her blush.
"You can't just say things like, weirdo." She mumbled, her eyes roving around the room. Nya didn't know it, but she'd been asleep for three days. Gigi and herself had been training together—Myra had even apologized. And turns out—she was somewhat a decent person. Though, Aria's conclusion was that they simply weren't ready.
You couldn't rush magic—it came on its own. And that was the case for everyone, even special magic users like the keys.
"You're quiet, what's wrong?" Nya questioned, her vision completely blocked and blacked as Lilly covered her eyes.
