7. Trust me

At Ranawat Niwas, Meena ji, Aryan and Shivanya were having their dinner on their small dinning table consist of six sitting ..

"Maa, tomorrow The Agnivanshi's will come to ask Choti's hand for marriage" Aryan informed while Meena ji looked at Aryan in disbelief.

"Not possible. She will run again.. I don't want to get insulted again" Meena ji said, on which Aryan smiled.
"No, She will not.. Choti has already met the man I have decided for her.. His name is Shivansh Agnivanshi, the new ACP of jaipur " Aryan said looking at Shivanya ,who nodded her head..

"Wo itne bade ghar ke log hai aur wo Shivanya ke liye maan gaye? Unhe pta hai na ki ye ek vidhwa hai? " Meena ji asked indirectly giving taunt to Shivanya..

(They are from such a big family and they agreed to Shivanya? Do they know that she is a widow?)

Hearing her words , Shivanya clenched her jaw, while Aryan fisted his palm on the spoon he was holding.

"Maa, iss baar mene Choti ke liye ladka dekha hai, toh obviously mene accha parivaar hi dekha hoga ladke ke saath... " Aryan said indirectly giving taunt, because he can't tolerate anything bad about Shivanya..

(Mother, this time I have seen a boy for the her, so obviously I must have seen a good family with the boy...)

Shivanya chuckle but masked it with fake cough. While Aryan smiled at her antics.

Meena ji didn't liked it, she threw the spoon on the plate and left the table while fuming in anger.

"Bhai, that was too good.. But you shouldn't talk to her like this. She is my step mother but yours.. She is your real mother.. You should not taunt her " Shivanya said concerned about her brother's relationship with his mother.

While Aryan looked at his sister with pride and remarked "But elders also should learn how to respect their younger ones.. She don't have any rights to taunt you if she not consider you as her child " Aryan said and stood up from his place.

"Are you on a diet, Bhai? "

"No.. Why? "

"Actually now a days you are started eating less"

"I have not started eating less. It's you who eats slowing, beta" Aryan said making Shivanya pout.

"Eat fast" Aryan said and made his way towards kitchen..

Shivanya was standing below her room balcony, as she has jumped from there because she has a important case .
And Meena ji has strictly ordered her to not go outside as she still doubts that Shivanya will run away like everytime..
Shivanya can't enter the house from the main door as she is already fifteen minutes late.

She tries to jump in the balcony by the crawling on pipe, she has almost reached near her balcony when her legs betray hear resulting her to fall. She closed her eyes in fear that this is the last day of her life..
But surprisingly she didn't felt any pain. She opened her one eye and then the other and said "Hey Mahadev ye swarg bhi pritvi jesa hi lag rha hai mujhe toh.."

(Lord Mahadev, heaven is also similar in look to earth)

Then she turns her head other side and says " Mr. ACP? Aap yha tak aa gaye? Par aapko toh nark me hona chaiya tha na? "

(You came here too? But you should be in hell?)

"Vakil Sahiba, mene aap ko ghirne se bccha liya hai. You are still safe and sound" Shivansh said not before rolling his eyes.

(I saved you from falling.)

"Oh.. Thank god! Um.. Ab aap mujhe niche utaarne ka kasht karenge" She said pointing towards the ground..

(Now will you bother to keep me down)

He made her stand properly on her legs and asked "Wese aap kar kya rahi thi? Bhaag toh nahi rahi thi? "

(By the way, what were you doing? Running away?)

"Nahh! I have promised bhai that I will not run away this time. I have gone to court as I was having a important case. And now I'm late so I can't go inside from the main door. That's why I was trying to go in my room through the balcony but my legs betrayed me" She said glaring at her legs..

He smiled a little and said "Par aap ko kyo ese jaana hai? If you have gone court then you family must be aware of it"

(But why you want to go like this?)

"Mumma ne mujhe strictly mna kiya tha kahi bhi jaane se toh me chup ke se chali gayi thi par ab me agar main gate se andar gayi toh wo mujhe pe phir se chilaayingi " Shivanya said with a defeated look..

(Mumma had strictly forbidden me to go anywhere so I walked silently but now if I walked through the main gate she would shout at me again.)

"Hm.. My family is coming in the next five minutes.. So before that you have to get in your room.. Wait I'll help you" He said when he located a ladder nearby.

He brought that ladder and placed it near the balcony..

"Go" Shivansh said signalling her to step on it.

"Me ghir jaaungi "

(I will fall)

"Vakil sahiba, vishwaas kijiye. Me aapko ghirne nahi dunga" He assured her, but she shook her head..

(Have faith in me. I will not let you fall)

"You only have five minutes" He warned and after battling with her fear , she kept her foot on the first step.

But soon she kept her hand on his shoulder for support.
She looked at him as if asking to leave this idea.

"Me aapko kabhi ghirne nahi dunga. PROMISE" He reassured her and held her one hand and with the other he held the ladder..

(I will never let you fall)

She took a deep breathe and took another step, while he held the ladder with his both hands.

Soon she reached in her balcony.
"Dekha mene apna vaada nahi thoda " He said in a little louder voice.

(See I didn't broke my promise)

"Thanks" She yelled back..

"Jaaiye taiyar ho jaayi ye meri family aane wali hai" He said and kept the ladder at its place.

(Go and get ready my family must be coming)

She nodded and moved inside her room.

Aryan knocked on the door and came inside and asked "Shall we go, Choti? "

She looked at him and said "Okay, Bhai"

She has worn a simple red cotton silk anaarkali with her hairs left open and bangles in one hand and watch in another..

They came down, saw everyone chating.
Shivansh saw her and smiled remembering the stunt they had performed a while ago..

"Choti, meet her. She is Geetanjali Dadi. Our favorite person" Aryan introduced, Geetanjali ji smiled at her and she joined her palms in respect..

"And he is Shailesh uncle, Shivansh's father" But Shailesh ji looked at her blankly, then too she joined her palms in respect..

"And she is Minty.. Means Isha his younger sister " Aryan introduced on which Isha gave a glare to Aryan and smile to Shivanya..

"Come, Shivanya, sit here" Geetanjali ji said and patted the place beside her.
