It has been three days since Y/N's initial foray into hero work. Surprisingly, there have been no encounters with mysterious entities or criminals. Y/N was accustomed to daily confrontations with such adversaries, as they seemed omnipresent. However, the last three days have been devoid of any such incidents.
'Slow week, huh.' Y/N mused to himself while walking to Saitama's apartment. 'Maybe I should've stayed home and replayed Titanfall 2 instead of going out.' He kept walking until he was approached and halted by two girls.
"Hey! You're that handsome new Class-S hero!" One of the two teenagers exclaimed.
Filled with some hope for an interesting day, Y/N responded, "Yes I am. You girls need help or something?"
Shaking their heads, the teenage girl replied, "No! But we're huge fans! We're part of your fan club!"
"... I have a fan club?" Y/N asked, bewildered. He had only been a hero for a few days, yet he already had a fan club.
The girls nodded their heads before one girl spoke, "Yeah! We've been part of your fan club for years! Way before you got engaged!"
"Oh... Well, I, uh, should be going now, cya." Y/N said, feeling unsettled upon discovering an unknown fan club dedicated to him. Surely, Saitama would envy such unexpected admiration.
As Y/N backed away, the second girl, the short one, grabbed his sleeve and exclaimed, "Wait!"
Feeling uncomfortable around these girls, Y/N inquired with impatience, "Yeah?"
The short teenage girl took out her phone while the other took out a notebook. "Can we get your autograph and a picture?" They asked.
"I would love to, but I don't have a—" Before she could finish, the teenage girl quickly pulled out a pen from her pocket and handed it to Y/N. "Pen."
After a few minutes of repeated photoshoots and autographs, Y/N had fulfilled the teenager's request. With that, they waved goodbye and wished him luck as he continued his way to Saitama's place.
------Two days before present------
Y/N arrived at Saitama's apartment as usual and observed Genos meticulously inspecting the bald hero's living space, taking notes on every detail.
"Genos, what are you up to?" Y/N inquired as they approached the cyborg.
Genos shifted his gaze from his notes and responded, "Master has permitted me to reside with him, and I have seized this chance to observe his daily habits, hoping to uncover the secrets behind his formidable strength."
With a surprise look on his face, Y/N turned to Saitama and asked, "Is that true? You allowed him to stay here?"
Not bothering to look at Y/N, Saitama replied, "I didn't invite him, he's paying me rent to stay here."
Opting not to engage further in the conversation, Y/N pulled out the latest shonen manga from his jacket pocket. The cover displayed 'Paramount War: One Piece Volume 57'.
------Present------
An hour had elapsed since Y/N's arrival. Saitama was at ease, engrossed in the latest chapter of Dragon Ball Z from Volume 11, while Y/N was absorbed in a mobile game titled 'Nexomon Extinction'.
