"Kook-ah...?"
Jimin stared at the message he sent to Jungkook, his heart aching. He knew the younger one was still angry, yet he wanted to talk to him, to explain that he never meant to push him away.

Mrs. Jeon carefully twisted the doorknob of Jungkook's bedroom. The room was dark, and she assumed he had already fallen asleep. She smiled softly as she entered, picking up the shoes that had been thrown in the middle of the floor. 'He must be exhausted,' she thought, as she wandered around, looking for the shoe rack.
After placing the shoes away, she noticed how Jungkook’s room was all in black and white, with a huge poster of 'TAYLOR GRIM' above his bed. She wondered how her son had developed such a passion for boxing. Her ex-husband wasn’t an athlete, but he had been a businessman with a good sense of sportsmanship. She realized she needed to build a stronger connection with Jungkook, to get closer to him and raise him as she did with Eunwoo.
Mrs. Jeon gently caressed Jungkook’s black hair, who was now lying in bed under a black blanket, dressed in a comfortable set of pajamas. Jungkook flinched at her touch but didn’t bother to open his eyes. Did he know who it was? Yes, he knew it was his mother, and he leaned into her touch. He missed her deeply, missed those good old days with both his parents.
Jungkook furrowed when he felt a drop of her tear fall on his cheek. He opened his eyes and saw his mother silently crying.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you up…” she panicked, thinking she had disturbed his sleep. “I should get going…” she was about to stand up from the bed, but Jungkook grabbed her wrist.
“Stay... with me,” he whispered softly. Mrs. Jeon’s heart ached at how much Jungkook had missed her presence. She could feel how lonely he must have been all this time.
Jungkook laid his head on his mother’s lap, and Mrs. Jeon couldn’t describe how she felt at that moment. It had been so hard to fight for him after her ex-husband passed away.
“Please give me a chance, Jungkook-ah… Mom will make everything right. I promise you, we’ll live happily, just like before,” she said tearfully, planting a soft kiss on his forehead.
Jungkook simply stared at the window, not saying anything, until he slowly drifted into a deep sleep as his mother sang a lullaby from his childhood.

Park Nam-Min elected as the President of the Business World in South Korea and Park Bo-Gum died at the age of 62.!
Yuna read the headline on the news, and her heart began to race as she saw the funeral of Park Bo-Gum.
“Mom?” Jimin shouted when he realized his mother wasn’t responding to him.
“Huh?” she blinked, looking at Jimin, who was now standing in front of the television, blocking her view.
“Are you even listening to me?” Jimin furrowed his brows. At the same moment, she saw Park Nam-Min on the television, giving an interview to the media. She looked at him, then at her son, noticing how similar they looked. She gulped as she made eye contact with Park Nam-Min. Though he was looking into the camera during the interview, to Yuna, it felt like he was glaring directly at her.
“Mommy?” Jimin stomped his feet in frustration and turned off the news, thinking the broadcast was distracting his mother.
“I’m talking to you... Mom? Are you okay?” He noticed how pale she looked.
