This is severely out of character...it's my first time writing her...but I hope it's entertaining enough...Another day...just...blindly passing through, watching the sun grace the city with it's yellow haze. You just wish for...something...something so amazing that it's similar to magic, something of a miracle, but well...it never came no matter how much you've dreamed. Sigh...while you walked these streets, you harshly bumped into someone. "Oh! UGH! ...Gosh darn it..." The lady tightly held her aching shoulder, "Oh my gosh! Sorry! Are you alright?" You quickly got up, she sighed, "Yes, yes...you don't need to apologize, I mean-- It was my fault anyway, you know?" She picked herself up off of the ground, "I was in a hurry...then I started running and...yeah." You awkwardly smiled, "It's alright...You should probably get going if you're in that much of a hurry..." Well she was running like...really fast. "Oh..uh- okay, um." She was about to get back to her own antics, but something urged you. "Wait!" You called, she turned to look at you. "What's your name?"
"It's Deandra"
...
"Why?"
You paused for a minute. "I...uh...it's nothing. Really. Sorry. You just look really...familiar" That's a very cliché but believable excuse.
"Um, okay." Deandra shrugged and left. Deandra looked like she'd been kissed by the stars. I mean...sure, she looked a little forked up but, she just looked so magical. You felt so shaken by the interaction for no reason at all, as if a meteor shower took place inside of you. This feeling was accompanied with fearful curiousity. The question, "Will I ever see her again?" Echoed through the corners of your mind. You decided not to overthink it. She was nothing more than a stranger recklessly running through and yet you find yourself thinking about her nonstop. She was just...a mysterious lady, a peculiar woman indeed~
Meanwhile
"--UGH! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS SHIRT!" She yelled in the midst of a heated argument between the gang. Dee was growing real tired of hanging out with the gang. She felt like she'd been overdosing on their stupidity. "Oh my gosh, just shoot me already" She murmured to herself. Dee sighed, sinking into her thoughts like quicksand. "I need something new...something that would rock my world...ugh, that sounded corny as shirt but it's true." Her mind was cut short when Dennis slapped her in the face. "OW! What the fork is wrong with you?!!", "NO YOU!" Dennis yelled. "What? What's that supposed to mean?!" "You went silent for like 2 minutes." Dennis said. "And?", "And that's weird as shirt!" "Uh, okay?! And???" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'AND'?!" ...Dee seemed a little too tired to come up with something...
"Fork this." Dee left the bar. The three men glanced at each other in confusion. "Dude, what the hell was that?" Mac said as he watched her walk away. "Probably nothing, let's just go back to waterboarding Charlie."
Dee took one deep breath as she walked further and further away. Asking herself the question, "What's missing?" repeatedly. She sighed. Now what? Dee walked these streets without any purpose but to clear every little thing in her head. But then she remembered the woman she bumped into earlier this day. Who was she? Why did that weirdo ask for my name? Dee swept those thoughts away and decided to enter a 7/11 to buy a little something. She pushed the door open, breathing in the cold air. Dee wandered around the aisles...and grabbed a shirt ton of chocolates, she then turned around and spotted you standing nearby.
...
Right after she got out of your mind, you turned around to see her once again. The two of you were startled to see each other. "Oh...Hey, it's you again..." She awkwardly smiled as an attempt to divert the attention away from the fact that she was about to buy 14 candy bars. "Yeah, Deandra...right?" "Mhm" Your eyes wandered down to her arms, which was carrying an abundant amount of chocolates. "Uh...what's that?" ..."Nothin'...what's that?" Deandra gestured towards the water bottle you were holding in order to change the subject. "...Water."
"You gonna...check out?" Deandra shamefully avoided eye contact, "Yeah, yeah..." She sighed. "Yeah.." Deandra followed you to the cashier as you watch her drop all of her items down on the table. She then thrusts into her pockets in search for her wallet. "Oh darn it! I think I lost my wallet!" In your POV, you genuinely thought that Deandra actually did lose her wallet. But in reality, she purposely didn't bring it because she was planning to steal a bunch of shirt. "Oh, no it's okay, I'll pay for it." You smiled. "Oh...Really?" Deandra felt a tiny speck of guilt hit her. Just like...really small...atom-sized guilt.2 Minutes Later
The two of you exited the store in silence. Until Deandra decided to start conversation, "Hey, thanks for uh--" You cut her off, "Oh no, it's nothing really." You smiled as you both walked in silence. Neither of you knew why you were walking with each other. "So...uh, I don't think I've uh-- you know, you're uhh... I- um.." Deandra continued to stutter. "...Are you okay?" "Your name. I mean. I'm asking for your name...", "Oh, it's Y/n." She started to blush a little. "Soo...Y/n...Uh-- Can we...you know, hang out some time?" "Well...Why not now?" You smile. But just then--
"DEE! THERE YOU ARE!"
"Ohhh....shirt."
Three men ran to her. "Where have you been? We've been worried sick!" Dennis paused and looked at you. "And who is this?" Dee groaned. "How did you--" Dee glanced at Charlie, he was wet and a toad was resting atop his head. "What did you do to Charlie?" "I dunno man." Charlie giggled. "Oh my gosh...and how the FORK did you pieces of shirts find me?!"
"Jeremy helped us." Mac replied. "Who's Jeremy?!" "The toad." Dee rolled her eyes. "Oh really, the toad?" "DON'T INSULT JEREMY LIKE THAT!"Mac cleared his throat. "We're just here to say that because of you, we weren't able to break into that old lady's house and steal her dentures. I hope you're happy, bench." He proudly exclaimed while Dee quickly went silent. "Isn't that a good thing?" "No it's not! Now we'll never get to sell it for $100!", Her eyes shamefully avoided your gaze. "...You should probably leave."
"Yeah...Maybe I should..." you murmured.
As you were about to leave, you heard a voice behind you. "WAIT! Don't go!" Dennis exclaimed. You turned around, the two of you looked at each other in silence....
"Are you free on saturday?"
...
"Oh my gosh dude..."
