Feeling Like I'm Going Crazy
Okaur. So this version has a deleted scene. It involved a character I made up for this fanfic named "Donna" if that's even her real name... Donna was supposed to be the woman Y/N talked to in the near end of chapter 2. The reason why...I deleted this is because I don't really think anyone would be interested in reading a whole scene that included a cameo of a made up character. Also, this was really hard to write around because the scene took up about 168 words...so I was back to 894...5 weeks later
Dee's feelings started to grow more and more stronger, leading her to accept it in shame. She couldn't help it, the more time you spent with her, the more it flourished. And sure, it was hard to accept...
"AAAAAAAAAAA, AAAAAAAAAAA!!" Dee took an empty glass bottle and smashed it onto the table. "AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"
But she started becoming more comfortable with it. Her change in behavior was very noticeable as well....
The two of you were hanging out at a bar. Unfortunately, Dennis happened to be at the same bar."And yeah, that's how I got into a fistfight with a bear, and--" --> Trying to impress you
"And lost!" Dennis cut in. She sighed, "Hey, can you shut the fork up?" --> Wants to spend time with you without any interruptions
"Ohh, sweet sweet Dee, you can't shut me--" Dee picked up a shotglass and threw it at him. --> Will resort to violence if said interruptions persist
She turned to you with a flirty gaze. "...Sorry you had to see that~ Where were we?" --> Speaks to you in a sensual tone
...
But nevertheless, it was hard for Dee to balance her "work" and "love life". I mean, one second, she's stealing someone's cat and the next she's...she's hanging out with you in a place where the sun shines brightly. On the other hand, you were so in love with her that everytime you see the letter "D", you immediately start daydreaming about the day you'll marry her. Well the wedding would surely end in blood. Your crush on her was so obvious that everyone around you seemed to notice it. Except for Dee, cause she's an idiot.
Out of all the crushes you've had, this one really 'crushed' you. I'm really sorry for that.
It's just that...(dramatic songwriting ahead) everytime the wind carried her golden locks, when her blue eyes reflect the sky and when she smiles and laughs, it's like a miracle graced you--
You were gonna see her again tonight. Come to think of it, she was always dressed to the nines everytime the two of you hangout, but um. Anyway. This was it. This was gonna be the night where you would tell her how you feel and then everyone will start doing a whole song number to celebrate your love. Actually, not really. That was what you imagined. Anyway, those conversations with that sketchy lady near the bar will finally pay off! You decided to talk to her once again 45 minutes before 'The Confession!'
"What's this? What are you all dolled up for?" The lady notices your expression. "And what are you smiling for?" She took a drag of her cigarette. "Well, this is it, I'm gonna do it!" "Do what?" "I'm gonna say it to her!" "Say what?" "I LOVE YOU!" "I LOVE YOU TOO, BUT WHAT?!" You groaned. "I mean that I'm gonna tell her that I love her!" She sighed, "Well, best of luck. Quit smiling by the way, your teeth are blinding me." You frowned, "I'm scared, Donna" You called her that since she refused to give her real name. "What if she's...straight?" Donna laughed, "Are you sure about that? C'mon kid, she is definitely not straight."
"Really? That makes sense. But what if she doesn't reciprocate? Is she gonna hate me?!"
"You just love making problems for yourself huh? Don't think about the outcomes just do it!"
"Dude, you're not Nike!"
"AM TOO!"
...
"Well...this is your time...go ahead and own it."
"You're right...Thanks grandma!"
"Wait, what?"
"NOTHING!"
You ran, every thought drifting through you, your life...right now...was reflecting through your irises...flashing right before you. Just before a single drop of remembrance came to you...there you were, ready to confess your love...at Chili's...
You burst through the door and sat at a table for two. "M'aam...that seat is reserved...", "Oh it is? Sorry..."Okay, you sat at another table. For two. Not letting any doubt get to you this time. You downed the glass of water, choking on the ice, and that was when she entered the room. With...three other men behind her.
...
"What the fork?! What is this?" Dee gestured to their outfits. They were wearing cowboy costumes and Charlie was holding a banjo in his arms. "Well, we wanted to do a little performance for your girlfriend over there. Country style." Charlie said. "Listen, Dee, you will NOT regret letting us do this. Pretty soon, she's gonna be running into your arms thanking me." Dennis added. "Thanking you? This was my idea!"
"Well I think she'd thank me since I'm a...better performer than you. I'm just saying."C: "DUDE, WHAT THE HELL?!"
DN: "I'm just saying!"
C: "I don't get it, Dennis, I mean- I should be the one being thanked because this was MY IDEA!"
Dee cut the two of them off, "Again, I don't need your help--"
C: "WELL YOU LOOK LIKE YOU NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP!"
...
Dee noticed you (and everyone else in the restaurant) looking at her. "Wow, thank you, you just made her think that I hang out with a bunch of weirdoes." She sighed and walked towards your table. "Hey...sorry for that...I uh-" She looked up to see your nervous grin. "What...is going on with you?" "Dee, I have to tell you something..."
...
"I uh...I...." You heard something clatter behind you so you turned your head to see three cowboys standing behind your seat, smiling maniacally. "OH MY GOSH! WHAT IS THIS?! "CHARLIE, I SWEAR TO--" One of the cowboys starts playing his banjo and the other one started to sing, "TRUE LOVE IS REAL, EVEN IF YOU'RE GAY, CAUSE IT'S OKAY TO BE GAY" The song continued to play as you watched Dee cower in embarrassment. "YEEEEEHAWW!" When the song ended, you looked at Dee with extreme concern, "Uh...What's this?"
"...I don't wanna talk about it."
She stood up and walked towards the cowboys. "DO YOU JUST HAVE TO RUIN EVERYTHING FOR ME?! GIVE ME THAT BANJO!" She proceeded to snap the banjo in half and storm out of the restaurant. With the people looking at you in complete silence, accompanied with shock and confusion, you decided to leave and follow Dee outside.
...
"I think she liked our performance."

This scene involved "Donna" or Bethany, again. My reasons for this were the same, I figured that this scene wasn't really that necessary, but the reason why I wrote this is because I wanted to add more...personality to Y/n, like. Um. Make her a little more comedic I guess. But this scene just came off as cringe. That's an old word. But it is indeed cringe."--Of course I love her..." You were picking flower petals, talking to a random woman on the street. "Well why don't you tell her?" You sighed, "It's not the right time! We've known each other for one day!" The woman scoffed, "Really? That fast?" You took another sip of your drink. Did I mention that you were drunk? "Look, don't rush it, take your time to appreciate what you have in the present, but don't let her go." She stole your drink and downed it. "Now give me my $20 back." You groaned, "Well, it was insightful...-ish. Here you go." She ran away. "HEY! WAIT! I'M NOT DONE!"
