Loving Too Much

I stood in the warm sun
with a heavy shallow heart that hummed
i saw this white butterfly pass by
my head tilted
i thought

I stood by the fence,
alone with a huge ocean right in front of me
i heard the waves push back and forth
and the seagulls were making sounds
a couple were by the end of the fence
an old woman was crying looking at it
an albatross passed by with its feet touching the water
i..thought

there were dead orange leaves under my feet
Once they were vibrate and green,
it danced in the sun, i swear i could imagine it,
Now it trembles alone, as its journey's begun... as it passed by me because of the wind

white and full of life,
blue with a shade of black
that beautiful shade of yellow
the colors ignite, they're all alive
but the air speaks of loss to me at night
each one that passes by, along with it a memory fades,
wether laughter and warmth,
wether dark or ablaze,
wether fear or that one specific feeling of a heart weighting a thousand broken vases
when your heart yearns and yearns for a familiar place

beneath oaks where shadows now creep,
the leaf finds its rest, in silence it weeps
everyone will always have a fragment of my heart
from the curse of loving too much
i will never depart
