Chapter Eleven: Great Driver

Mia's POV:
On the way to the speakeasy we blast one of a kind on our speakers and race towards there. Parking and getting my helmet off I go inside with Kai to find everyone already sitting together at the table talking about our next mission. Greeting everybody I start going through our normal procedures like getting everybody's idea for how we should do it, seeing if there's any objections, stuff like that. Gary had a great idea about how to sabotage the guys car to make it look like an accident. If I were to cut the brakes again it would look like someone tampered with it and we can't do that this time. Claudia and me are trying to figure out the perfect dress for me to be able to go in. I have to be able to fit in with the crowd but also be able to tamper with his car. We decided on this design where it's a long dress but it's able to be tied upwards making it shorter and easier to move in. This time I'm going to have dawn and water ready to clean my hands so there's no incidents there.

Gary was able to snag me an invitation for the gala so I won't have to sneak in or anything like that. I'm using a fake name since none of them need to know the red bishop is there. I would probably get shot by several people. I'm going to put in fake contacts and a wig that's like my normal hair but it's just straight black just in case. Once we have everything set up and put in place we call it a night and each head out. Me and Kai decide to sleepover at mine tonight so we race towards home so we can make it in time for dinner.

While walking in we greet everybody and set our stuff down. My mom and dad are cooking while my brothers are playing games in the living room. It feels nice to experience this and not all the other bullshit I go through. It's so refreshing. After eating me and Kai head up to my room to sleep. The next morning we wake up and start getting ready for school. I can finally take my car again since it's been long enough and I can show it to Mr. Grey too. Doing my makeup differently today I go for a more fairy type of look. I add this pretty iridescent eyeshadow stick to my eyelids and put on more natural eyelashes. I tint my lips just a little bit and add blush here and there. My freckles really pull the look together. Getting dressed I put on this mini dress that has flowers all over it and has the lettuce type of cut at the top. Putting on cute jewelry like dangly flowers for my earrings and a lily of the valley necklace and some cute feminine rings. Then I add my knife strap high on my thigh so nobody can see it or if they do it'll look like a garter. I leave my hair down for once so it falls in waves down to my butt. I put a few butterfly clips in just to add some more accessories.

Once we're both ready we get into my car and blast inbetween on the speakers and race towards the coffee shop because that sounds really good right now. Kai had already had coffee already so she just stayed in the car while I went to go order my drink. After ordering I wait around and start looking around the little coffee shop and there in all his shining glory is Mr. Grey. He looks mouthwatering with his sleeves rolled up and his tattoos leaking out. I look down his forearm seeing his veins and then looking at his hands he has several rings on. He's in all black today which I've never seen him in but it fits him so well. It makes him look like an angel of death like Mr. Graves.

The barista called out my name and he instantly looked up from his phone and found me staring at him. He smirked realizing it was me and started to walk over to me. On his way over he noticed my different look today and looked awestruck for a moment. He looked me up and down like he was committing how I looked to memory.

"Well it's funny seeing you here again little one."

"It sure is a coincidence but this is the coffee shop I usually go to since it's close to campus." I was trying to keep my head on straight after him calling me little one. It always makes me feel so small compared to him and I like it so fucking bad. I end up blushing a little bit and he smirks noticing he has an effect on me.

"I just started coming here the day I ran into you and I really like this place. Now no spilling your drink this time okay love?"

"Mhm I won't I promise."

He looked like he wanted to say something but held back and said he'll see me at school. God I want to know what goes through that man's brain. Going and getting into my car we race towards the college. Like usual there's people blocking the way so I rev my car and that catches both of my two off limits professors. Even Mr. Graves looked impressed which really means something. After parking I get out and put my mini knives into my knife holster acting like I'm rearranging my garter. I run over to Mr. Grey and tug on his arm to come look at my car since I know he was so excited to look at it. Mr. Graves ends up coming too. Getting over to my car Mr. Grey whistled when he got a better look at it.

"This is a beautiful car Miss Bishop and you said you and Kai did all the work."

"Yeah my dad started teaching me about cars when I was younger and I learned a lot over the years and was able to figure out how to modify it."

"Well it looks great and the work done on it looks spectacular. You'll have to take me for a test drive one day." He smiles so brightly at me it almost makes my heart burst. Even Mr. Graves was looking at my car with an impressed face.

"Of course but I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to sign a contract that says I'm not liable for any injuries or damages." I said it with a straight face not breaking character and Mr. Grey's eyes just pop out of his head. Best reaction ever. Even Mr. Graves had a twitch to his lip knowing I was fucking with him.

"I'm just kidding! I do race like a race car driver but I'm really good at driving."

"I don't knowww you kind of just scared the shit out of me do I really want to put my life in your hands?"

"I promise I won't kill you I'm a great driver."

"Mmm if you say so Miss Bishop. Now start getting to class we'll be starting soon."
