Mia's POV: After a few weeks of flirting here or there it was finally time for us to go to this concert. We had one contract and it went perfectly and I was able to shoot him in the head with a sniper rifle from the building across the street. They didn't say anything about it but they know I did it especially since this is one I was supposed to let everyone know I did. I left a glass fly somewhere before they got there and then once it was done they found it and realized I did it. Not like they can retaliate though. No one knows who I actually am and no one has ever seen me in person before.
Well beside them. They're the only exception besides my team who know who I actually am. I make sure to do everything without a trace besides my miniature glass fly when needed. No camera footage has ever been taken of me, all of it has been wiped. I've never had any witnesses. God maybe I am his favorite soldier because I certainly didn't think I would make it this far without getting found out. Maybe it was meant to be that they found out. I don't believe in any religion really but I have some faith in the universe and how it works.
Getting ready for the day I put on my e-girl makeup (don't even say that shit is cringy bc that was peak era and it helped so much with the pandemic) with white waterline and heavy eyeliner. I drew a little white heart on my nose and did my eyebrows along with highlighter and some false eyelashes. Calling it good I start to get dressed and go for fallen angel vibes if that can even be a description. I have a long white dress with layers on with a black corset and I put devil horn hair clips in leaving it down. One is white and one is black and I put them on the opposite sides of my hair color (that was like the worse description but black on blonde, white on black, boom done). Then I put my mary jane's on. Feeling good I grab my keys and head out to go get in my little honda civic to go pick up Kai.
Grabbing her and stealing her we go on our way to the coffee shop and at least this time we're both getting coffee. With her and me walking hand and hand into the coffee shop we order and wait for it. Feeling eyes on me I look up and my eyes instantly clash with theirs and my heart starts beating faster by the second. God why do they have to look so good in and outside of school. Grabbing our order me and Kai head over to them to see if they're going to the concert tonight. They see me walking towards them and their eyes immediately darken.
"Soooo are you guys going to Dusty's concert tonight?"
"Wouldn't miss it for the world princess." Mr. Graves says with a smile. He's been doing that a lot more now and it's as devastatingly handsome as he is.
By now they know that Kai is involved with what I do and that she's not one to go spilling secrets and she's just happy I've found them and that they've accepted me for who I am. So it hasn't been awkward or anything it took a few days to get used to it all that's for sure. They promised to keep my identity a secret especially considering they have all of my information through the college. I still remember having one of my elementary school teachers tell me my address and I was like the fuck (even as a kid I said those exact same words in my head). I also promised to keep their gang a secret and we haven't had the same contract since the fly wing incident so things has gone smoothly.
I look up at them excitedly and smirk while asking, "Are you ready to get your asses beat in the mosh pit tonight then?"
"Love, you're going to be sorely surprised." Mr. Grey smirks at me.
"Yeah yeah yeah whatever you say Mr. Smirksalot. If you guys are cultured I'll be wearing corpse paint so you can spot me in the crowd." I blow them a kiss and take Kai's hand and we go outside to my bike.
Getting on it we blast Holiday getting ready for tonight's concert. If he plays uppers and cheap love I might just combust. That's one of his older songs so I'm hoping he plays it. I know for sure he's going to be playing Insects since it was his first main song to come out.
Racing to my house since I'm doing Kai's makeup tonight and I'm dressing her up in my clothes, we get there with relatively no incidents (besides me almost hitting an asshole's mirror for almost side swiping my bike). Going into the house I see my family all about. My brothers are playing games again and my parents are dancing in the kitchen together making dinner which I find so cute. I can only hope to have a love like the one they have. Endless and wonderfully meaningful. They all know tonight is our concert and my mom is ready to take a bunch of pictures of us after we get ready and my dad just doesn't want me getting hurt while I'm there. Polar opposites sometimes.
Me and Kai head into my room and start by hitting our pens a little bit and then I start getting all the things ready to do her makeup. Like I said a few weeks ago I'm going to do traditional goth makeup on her which is so fun to do but just not fully my style so I don't do it on myself but I think it'll look great on Kai. She has straight black hair that's a little on the shorter side kind of like a wolf cut but a little edgier with the short micro bangs. Her eyes are deep brown and she has pale skin like me from living here. The sunshine is nice every once in a while but we love the weather here.
After doing her makeup I start doing mine and after about an hour I'm done. I like it to look a little messy. (You can really do corpse paint in a lot of different ways so if you don't know what it is that's alright because there's really no good way of describing it at least for my my dumbass). I get her dressed in the perfect trad goth outfit. This is how her makeup kind of looks like and her hair:

I put on some black combat pants since they look sexy on me (and I'm more protected if I fall) and put on my black high heeled boots on and a black long sleeved cropped shirt that's tight fitting on me. It has skeletal wings on the back which I found cute. It all fits perfectly with the corpse paint. I leave my hair down and mess it up a little bit to go with the makeup.
Once we're all ready we go downstairs so my mom can take pictures of us. We do our cute little poses and she says she'll take them to get them printed tomorrow. My dad hugs me and Kai and we make it outside to my car to start to head out. We blast some of his songs off the new album that's coming out soon which I'm sure he'll play. I texted Cain and told him to meet up with us at the bar they're playing at. We haven't flirted or anything and it's just been nice to have him around. Turns out he's like your biggest hype man and he has a boyfriend. I met him and they look so cute together. Obviously Mr. Grey and Mr. Graves don't know that so they still get jealous when they see us together. Which I find way too hot. Tonight they'll find out he has a boyfriend though so no more fun with that.
It's in downtown and we live on the north side so it was a bit of a drive and I'm not the most used to all of the one way streets down here. After going to the address we couldn't find where the bar was but then Cain texted us that it's around back so we found a place to park since we got here early and started to head around back. I can't have any weapons in here no matter how much I would like too but that's just how concerts are and I'm not about to ruin the atmosphere. So when we got there I asked them to put my switchblade in the lockbox and then they scanned me and looked at my idea. Same with Kai and Cain and all of his friends. We all got in and started going to the bar since they're only letting in anyone 21+ right now since the venue time hasn't started yet. After getting some drinks we head out to the floor and start drinking and talking while waiting for the concert to start we're at the front which is awesome.
