september 2nd, 6:45am.

alaina awoke from her deep sleep to the sound of her alarm going off. *beep beep beep* today was the first day back at school. this year alaina had decided to join higgs school for girls due to some issues that had happened in her old one. this year would be a fresh start for alaina to get over and forget about all the things that had happened in the past. or atleast thats what she hoped.

"lainee.. lainee! i want my breakfast!" her younger brother theo called from the room next door. "its coming" she replied tiredly. leaping out of bed, she made her way into the kitchen. there wasn't much to offer other than a couple slices of bread. alaina sighed and made theo a piece of toast leaving the other slice for her older brother. "breakfast theo!" she called. "thank you lay lay" answered theo. alaina usually took care of her brother as her mother was always working and she hadn't heard from her father since she were only 6 years old. her older brother georgie hadn't been the same since then.

eventually alaina had finished getting ready and the bus soon arrived to take theo to school. alaina waved goodbye to him from her bedroom window. she then waited for georgie so she could walk to school with him as he was attending truham grammar.

"what are you doing?" asked georgie. "well i thought we could walk together..?" replied alaina.
"pfttt.. no way im being seen with you" groaned georgie. alaina frowned then made her own way to school.

she made her way into form and got seated next to a short haired girl named imogen. "would you like to be friends?" she asked.
"sure" alaina responded with a light smile. i mean she seems friendly enough and i do need some new friends she thought to herself.

school had passed so imogen and alaina were about to part ways until imogen annouced that she has a few guy friends who attend truham that would love to meet her.
