Hardin
It seemed like she drove forever but eventually, we pulled up to a nice apartment complex. The outside was all black and the big wide doors were glass showing the entrance. Tessa parked the car and we hopped out, walking up to the building. I can feel myself getting nervous I'm gripping my bag tightly, Tessa looks over at me and flashes me a smile, I try to give one back but I give a very nervous grin and she can tell.
"What is wrong?" She asks me. I just look at her before answering.
"Oh nothing, I'm totally fine" I answer back but my voice cracks totally telling my lie.
"Are you sure?" She asks me again.
"Tessa" I grab one of her small hands in mine. "I promise I'm ok" I say and she smiles again and slowly pulls her hand away from mine.
Well, that was awkward but better than nothing. I feel like I need some physical touch to her but I know I can't really have it. She is intoxicating and I want to get to know this woman that's in front of me eventually but right now I'll just settle to live with her as a guest. We walked past the front desk attendant and go to the elevator. Getting in she stands on the opposite end further away from me. The air is thick around us and I'm already nervous about this so her being nervous almost calms me down but not all the way. We keep going up the elevator and I can tell she's trying to avoid Turing around and making eye contact with me. I have to break this silence.
"Are you okay" I ask this time.
She sighs the turn around to look at me "Yeah, Yeah I'm totally fine" She says and I can tell she is not, this was a bad idea. She has a daughter and this grown man living in her house after just basically meeting him is ridiculous.
"When we go up I am going back down" I say to her and she looks shocked.
"WHY" she exclaims and fully turns her body towards me. "W-What did I do?" She asks me.
"You did absolutely nothing but I can tell your not fully about this and it's because of your daughter, I totally understand. The offer was nice but I'm not making you uncomfortable in your own home" I say.
She doesn't say anything She turns back around to thinks a little. I don't know what she is thinking so I just stare at her until she does say something. She is still so beautiful. I know that Ms.Celeste talked about her not giving her heart to another so I know she has dated of course because of the physical evidence her daughter but has she even tried.... Maybe not that doesn't matter, the point is any man would be lucky to have such a woman to call "Mine"
She eventually turns herself back. "Hardin I am positively ok with what's about to happen, I offered because I was comfortable but you're the first guy in my house since..." Her eyes grow teary but she regains herself fast. "That doesn't matter just know I'm ok with this whole situation, I promise" She says. There are tears still in her eyes but behind that is determination. I just nod my head at her and continue the ride up. After a couple more minutes we finally come to a stop and the doors open to a golden hallway and we step out to go down the right side of the hall. We step in front of a black door and Tessa turns the key to let ourselves in the nice home.
"Well welcome home" She says and turns her body to face me and smiles. I look around. It's really nice in here, feels like a home. A nice black couch is in the middle of the room with a Tv in front of it, two lamps are on either end. Tessa walks towards me but then reaches behind me to flick on the lights brightening up the entire area, my eyes drift from the living room to the kitchen/dining room, it's really fucking nice. Black counter tops with silver marble design mixed in. The chairs are high and silver but it's a smaller silver Chair which I'm guessing is for her daughter. The stove is silver with black burners following the theme. It looks wonderful in here and since it just her and her daughter then it's probably always this clean. I walk in further and look down a hallway and see three doors.
