Part 4: Suç ve Suçlu!
The Crime & the Criminal!

*Flashback*

This "crime" took place few days after Megha landed in Istanbul. Right after meeting Orhun in prison, both Dadi and Megha decided to go to Demirhanlı's mansion to visit Afife and Hira. But, never in their wildest dream they expect to see an unpleasant, horrifying scene happening right in front of their eyes on that day. For Megha, despite of all the bad memory she experienced that day, their visit to the mansion was more like blessing in diguise..

"Looks like there are no one in the house, Dadi. This mansion seems quiet, as if no one is in but, Orhun said Hira would be at home now", Megha said to Dadi.

"Hmm.. if there's no one around, we shall go and come back some other time then", Dadi said to Megha. Megha who was looking around the mansion from outside, looked at Dadi when she heard her name being called by her grandmother.

"Kya hua Dadi?" (What happened Dadi) asked Megha. She then turned to look at the place where Dadi was pointing at. There was a thin lady, hair tied in a bun was walking somewhere down, as if there was a hidden place underneath. That lady who wasn't aware of megha and Dadi's presence there, continued walking.

After Megha saw that there's someone in the mansion, she checked if the gate was locked and to their luck it wasn't. She then opened the gate where both Dadi and Megha quickly walked towards the place, following the thin lady's lead, from a distance in silence.

As they continued walking, it is true that the path is leading to a hidden place underneath, the dungeon. When both of them finally reached the dungeon, they froze for a moment in disbelief of what they are watching happening right in front of their eyes.

That real life horrible moment of witnessing Hira being held as a slave. The poor girl was loooking helpless while sitting down on the floor of the filthy cellar, with both hands tied, accepting the torture by wicked Afife.

"AFIFE!" yelled Dadi. That yell startled Afife who then quickly took her hands off Hira's hair. Both Afife amd the lady butler was shocked to see Dadi and Megha standing with them in the dungeon. Megha rushed towards Hira, brought Hira up, untied her ropes that locked her hands and comforts her with a hug.

Dadi who was filled with rage after witnessing the horrid actions of Afife, walked towards Afife angrily.

"HOW DARE YOU AFIFE! HOW DO YOU EVEN HAVE THE HEART TO DO THIS HEINOUS ACT? THAT TOO TO YOUR OWN DAUGHTER IN LAW? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND, AFIFE?" Dadi questioned Afife in thundering voice.

Afife just stood without a slight feel of guilt for her wicked actions. She answers Dadi in a cold, arrogant manner saying,
" I didn't do anything wrong Jaya teyze. That girl deserves that for what she has done to my son and my family. She is the reason why Orhun is now in prison! She ruins my son's life! That slave deserved to be punished for all the misery she brought to my son, to this family!"

While venting out her response, Afife moved forward to attack Hira, but Megha quickly pulled Hira to her back, protects Hira like how Orhun would do.

"Afife teyze, I think whatever harm you caused on Hira is enough. Right now, I am going to take Hira home, to stay with me. That would be the best for all of us", Megha said in a low, cool tone even though she was burning in rage within.

"HAYIR! Onu getirmene izin vermeyeceğim! (I won't let you to bring her)", Afife refused Megha's wish.

"But teyze, I am not asking for your approval. I am simply letting you know that I am indeed bringing Hira home to stay with me. If you try to stop us, I won't hesistate to let Orhun know about this horrinble incident immediately. And I think you don't want your son to get angry and disown you if he knows about the crime you have done to his wife", Megha's reply in a stern voice, more to threatening Afife.

Megha knows Afife will not take a step further as she wouldn't want Orhun to know of the heinous act done on Hira. Megha knows Orhun means the world to Afife and she can't stand the thought of Orhun leaving her, probably throwing her away from his life. Afife's only weakness are her children especially Orhun.

Without wasting any time, Megha brought Hira out from the filthy dungeon with her. Dadi who followed them, looked at Afife disgustedly and said, "Shame on you Afife! God will definitely punish you for all the bad things you have done especially to Hira." Dadi and Megha left the dungeon bringing Hira together without turning back at the "mujarim" (criminal).
