Together as lawyer-client but against as buddies

"WHAT? Are you out of your mind? You want to divorce Hira so she can have a better life without you? And that's why you have been rejecting her visitations, avoiding her so she would finally give up on you?", Megha questions Orhun in a vexed tone when he told her to prepare the divorce papers.

"Orhun, I can understand what you are feeling at this moment and why you are doing this, but do you really think it'll be the right thing to do? I know how much you love Hira and you know that you are her world, do you think she will live happily without you?"

"Yes, right now you might not be there with her pysically, but don't you have the hope that one day you'll be out from this prison, be a free man again? What'll happen then?", Megha tries to put some sense into Orhun's scattered mind.

"What if it never come true? What if you fail to bring me out? What'll happen then? I've already accepted my fate Megha, and I've decided that Hira will not go through this darkness with me. She deserves to live a better life out there, she doesn'r have to be stuck with me forever", Orhun replied passively, as if he has already gave up hope on his life, on his future.

"Orhun, don't you trust me as your lawyer? Do you doubt on my creadibility, that I'll never ever find the evidence to free you from this injustice sentence?" If I worked hard to prove my clients' innocence, don't you think I would work even more diligently for my own buddy, my ikiz (twin)?", Megha questioned Orhun, looking disbelievingly at him, for Orhun she knows is a man who never knew the meaning of failure, who would face any kind of situations, no matter how tough it is, handling it fearlessly with lots of courage and confidence.

Orhun just stared at Megha, emotionless. Not a single word uttered to answer Megha. He has made up his mind and nothing will change his decision. Megha understood his silence very well. She didn't want to push him further for she knows there's no point in trying to convince him to give up his insane idea of divorcing Hira.

"Peki, karar verdin! (Alright, you have decided)! I respect your decision as your lawyer. I'll do whatever it takes to proceed with the divorce formalities. But before that, I want you to meet Hira and tell her about your decision. Once she agrees and everything is finalized between both of you, I'll then file for your divorce", said Megha eventually accepting Orhun's demand, fulfiling her duty as his lawyer.

"Olur, nasil istersen (Okay, as you wish). Do arrange the meeting with Hira as soon as possible. I don't want to prolong it further as I want Hira to start her new chapter in life without me soon. Teşekkürler Megha (Thank you Megha). At last, you understood my situation and helping me with it. I really appreciate your support very much", Orhun replied to Megha with gratitude.

Megha exhaled slowly before replying to Orhun. She then lifted her head with a sharp look, piercing directly into Orhun's eyes and said, "Bak Orhun (look Orhun), as your lawyer, I'm obliged to respect your decision and to follow your instructions. Moreover, it's my responsibility as a lawyer to fulfil the client's wishes and commands."

"I tried to fulfil my duty as your friend by putting some sense into you, hoping you would listen and give up on the idea of divorcing Hira. Sadly, I lost as your friend."

"But, let me remind you Orhun.. When we thought Hira's chapter has ended forever, you found her back, alive. Then you almost lost her again because of Asli's evil plan. But with God's grace, you guys overcame that phase too."

"Then, when you were about to embark into a new journey together, Cihangır & Neva came into your lives where once again, you almost lost Hira due to your own foolishness. You believed in the false defamation thrown at Hira and hurt her extremely by not trusting her. You didn't give her the chance to defend herself by not listening and using your brain rationally. You, the only man she ever loved and trusted the most, did not protect and stood for her when she needed the most."

"Despite of all your ill treatment, she chose to forgive you and entrusted her whole present and future life to you without a slightest doubt. And now you are about to make the same mistake again when another life's test are thrown at both of you."

"As your wife, Hira is not giving up on you and is living with the hopes of seeing you out from this prison, being a free man again. Each day she is praying hard that we'll get the evidence and see you being released from this life imprisonment."

"I know at present, we have no clarity on how and when we can reach to the evidence, but the faith that Hira have and the effort my team are putting on this case, gives us hope that you will be out from here. Why can't you believe and have the same faith as Hira? I know deep inside, you didn't want to divorce Hira, but your present circumstances is what pushing you to make this decision."

"Please Orhun! Give it a second thought. Don't break Hira more by making this untimely decision. She had enough pain endured, torture from your mother, and now you asking divorce from her", Megha refreshing the past by voicing out to Orhun.

"Anne? ama...(Mom? But..)", Orhun couldn't complete his sentence as Megha quickly interrupted him.

"Stop Orhun! Now, the issue here is not about your anne. It's about Hira and you. Do you still think that after all these trials and tribulations you guys went through together, divorcing Hira would be the best thing to do? Can you imagine how this divorce news would rip her apart, causing her more distress? Are you really sure with your decision, Orhun?", Megha, trying her best to convince Orhun to change his decision on divorcing Hira. Her last attempt before she conveys his request to Hira.

Once again, the room is filled with Orhun's silence. No more bargains, no further arguments. His decision is final and he is standing firmly with it.

"Fine Orhun! I got your answer. I will do my job as your lawyer and schedule a meeting with Hira soon, before filing for your divorce. God forbids, but if Hira agreed with this divorce and right after your divorce, we found the evidence with God's will and you are set free from this life imprisonment, don't ever think of getting back into Hira's life."

"Don't even attempt to enquire about Hira's well-beimg or track her whereabouts. Hira doesn't need a man like you in her life. She is a strong woman and she would definitely live a sucessful life without you. I'll always be there for her, support her through thick and thin and will never ever leave her alone! Even if Hira forgives you and accepts you back, I'll never let it happen! Ans as you said earlier, neither you or your anne deserves this kind and loving soul."

"Take this as a gentle reminder or as a harsh warning, I don't care! But as Hira's guardian, I'll never ever let you to be near Hira again once you guys are divorced. ASLA! And you know to what extend I can go to protect and keep Hira away from you!", Megha's soft yet stern admonition to Orhun before she walks out from the room filled with her heated messages, leaving Orhun in a highly strung position.
