The next day, Halloween and Saros' birthday came closer hour by hour, and for the captains that called the S.S. Wildwhirl their home, many didn't want to get up today. Some were still healing from the fight yesterday, and felt they needed the rest. Many just felt it would be better to just go forth and act as if that massive battle never happened.

Some people did manage it, some people like Saros. He was up at the very earliest part of the morning, as today was his birthday. He had always looked forward to this day with eager enthusiasm each year, regardless. The wizard had already gotten up by the time Pitch walked up to his quarters and called him.

"Saros?" Pitch asked through the communicator on the door. "Are you still asleep?"

At that moment, the door flew open with a swish and Saros was standing there, fully robed, looking rather pleased with himself. Around him, his sleeping quarters were decorated already with halloween-themed trinkets.

"Well, hello there!" Saros chimed in with a lot of enthusiasm; he was already dressed up for Halloween and wore a vampire outfit. Pitch on the other hand wasn't moved that much by this and bluntly replied.

"Hm... Today is the trial of General Cole, and the court needs you, Saros, to testify." Pitch explained, his heart feeling a little bad for announcing it when he saw him getting in an exciting mood for all the Halloween and birthday vibe today. Saros on the other hand was a little let down by this and slumped his shoulders.

"Awh, do I have to?!" Saros groaned in annoyance. But his complaining didn't get him anywhere as Pitch stood stalwart. Even though he had a hard time wanting to gather the enthusiasm to attend this court case, he had to. "Oh, okay then... I'll come and testify, shortly."

Saros excused himself to wash off the make up he put on face, he did have more in stock, but he still felt a little sore as to the fact that they couldn't let up on the case for at least a day so he could enjoy his birthday as he always liked to.

"Alright, I'll allow you to keep your costume on, Saros." Pitch explained as Saros washed off the makeup he put on before drying himself off with a towel.

Saros felt a sense of relief that he could at least keep his costume on, and after locking his sleeping quarters up, he followed Pitch, which was a rare occurrence as Saros could normally teleport himself over to places in a few seconds.

At the same time, making their way to the meeting room was Hawk and Moon. They too were part of this and while neither of them were that pleased about being woken up at this ridiculous time of the morning, they felt they had to attend. Maybe afterwards they'd just return back to bed, they thought.

The two saw that Pitch and Saros were making their way over, as well as Corby and Corak. Both Captain Hawk and Commander Moon knew that both of them were here for the trial, and they could see their faces were clearly showing a want for justice. Without another word said, General Notus and General Racon walked over to them.

They both looked like they hadn't had the best of nights' sleep, and Commander Moon, without saying a word, toddled over to them and offered a careful hand to comfort them, telling them it's okay. All at once they knew where General Skylar was, and they anticipated this: he was ordered to escort Cole to the courtroom.

When Skylar walked past with Cole in his steady grasp it was clear that not even Cole had a great night. If he could have slept at all. Skylar clearly looked exhausted too but he wanted to see justice, and thus helped Cole to sit down at the designated chair. His claws were shackled with handcuffs and the general looked rather despondent as Skylar walked away to his own seat and couldn't hold back a quick yawn.

Another familiar bean joined the court room and walked over to Captain Pitch to report something important. The lime colored bean said: "Lord Pitch? Dr. Jouly and I managed to successfully find our special guest for today's court. They're ready whenever you need them."
