A Quiet Afternoon (smth like that)

Raven's POV

After a long month, finally, I can relax. The Teen Titans have all the bad guys locked up in the Jump City Police Department, and, most importantly, it's summer.

I have zero intention of joining the rest of the team outside, running around in the sun, throwing frisbees at a green dog. So I'm just going to spend the first afternoon of summer break alone, watching Netflix or reading a b-

Door opens

"WHAT UP, RAE!" Oh Azar, it's him. Beast Boy.

"Stop calling me that. What do you want?"

"Idk, everyone's outside having fun, and you're just sad and alone in here. You don't wan-"

"I'm not coming."

"But I can turn into a cute little green puppy and you can thro-"

"Get out before I turn you into a frisbee."

"Hehe as much as that sounds fun, bet you can-"

"I said. Get. OUT. "

"But-"

"NOW."

There was an awkward silence for a while there until he finally spoke up.

"Whatever, dude. I was just trying to talk." And finally, he left.

Sigh. Finally. Silence.

I closed my door, pulled the curtains and flopped onto the bed, pulling my laptop onto my lap. Time to relax for once. I scrolled through Netflix, deciding what would help me unwind.

"Aha. My Little Pony...Classic."

I clicked play, feeling comfier than ever and ready to begin a fresh afternoon. No one can know I'm obsessed with ponies. It would kill my rep

Knock, knock.

Seriously? I was too lazy to get up and open the door just to see that green changeling again. Yet I used my powers to pull the door open from the bed.

"Friend Raven!" Starfire's lively voice filled my dim room "May I come in?"

I groaned. So much for peace.

"I opened the door. Which means you're welcome. "

"JOY! "

She flew in and slopped down next to me on the bed. AND I FORGOT I WAS WATCHING MLP.

"Friend Raven? " Star looked up at me and said just as I shut the laptop close.

"What did you want? "

"Why do you not come out and do the sizzling of the breasts of the chicken? "

"What? Uh.. You mean, barbeque? "

"That is the correct! "

UGHHHH. What's wrong with people?

"Do you even know how to barbeque? "

"Oh the yes. I have seen pics of sizzling online. And friend Robin said that he will be helping me out with the sizzling. "

"Nice."

"YES. It brings me great joy. But you do not seem to be sharing the enthusiasm? "

"Well... Uhh. You could say I'm into other stuff. Like reading, and avoiding the sun, meditating-"

"VAMPIRE! "
