Chapter Seventeen: Peaceful

~ YUJIN'S POV ~

I slowly opened my eyes, still wrapped up in Chan's arms. His slow, steady breathing told me he was still asleep. I carefully untangled myself from him, trying not to wake him. Last night had been incredible, but as reality started to sink in, the guilt I'd felt before was back.

I sighed softly, slipping out of the bed. I didn't want to think about it right now. I needed a clear head before dealing with anything. I grabbed my clothes quietly and tiptoed toward the door, glancing back at Chan one last time.

The hallway was quiet, the boys clearly still fast asleep. I made my way to the shared room I had with Felix and Seungmin. The door creaked softly as I opened it, and I winced, hoping I hadn't woken anyone. Inside, I spotted Felix curled up in a blanket on his bed, his face soft and relaxed. Across from him, Seungmin was sprawled out, his pillow hugging the side of his face.

There was I.N, fast asleep in my bed. Chan was right; he must have crashed here when he came back. His mouth was slightly open, his hair a mess. I froze for a second, my heart pounding. I needed to be as quiet as possible.

I tiptoed around the room, grabbing my towel and some fresh clothes, and made my way into the bathroom. I closed the door gently and leaned against it for a moment, letting out a long breath.

I walked towards the shower and turned it on. The water was soothing as it washed over me. I felt so peaceful yet there was still some guilt lingering
in the back of my mind.

Even as I scrubbed my skin, I couldn't shake it. V's face kept flashing in my mind. He had no idea what was happening between me and Chan.

Once I was done, I wrapped myself in a towel and quickly dressed. As I headed back to the room, I made sure to be extra quiet. When I opened the door, I saw that I.N was still fast asleep, completely oblivious to my movements. I breathed a sigh of relief.

I moved around the room carefully, brushing my hair and getting ready. I dressed comfortably today, considering we had practice.

I glanced at the mirror, my damp hair falling over my shoulders. I brushed it quickly, running through my mental checklist of things I needed to do. Felix mumbled something in his sleep, rolling over and pulling his blanket up tighter around him. I smiled a little—he always looked so peaceful when he slept.

I glanced at the clock. It was still early, so I had a bit of time before we had to head to practice. Usually the person who wakes up first, has to wake up the rest of the members. I guess that's me today.

I figured I could give them a few more minutes before I had to play the annoying alarm clock.

I grabbed my phone and scrolled through it for a bit, checking messages and updates while sitting at the edge of my bed.

After a few minutes, I decided it was time to wake them up. Practice wasn't going to wait, and we all knew how tough the day would be if we didn't get moving soon.

I went over to Seungmin first, lightly shaking his shoulder. "Seungmin, time to get up," I whispered, trying not to startle him.

He groaned, burying his face deeper into the pillow, clearly not ready for the day. I chuckled and moved on to Felix, gently poking his side. "Felix, I.N wake up. Practice soon." Felix stirred, his eyes fluttering open as he groggily blinked at me.

I got up and left the room, knowing that they would probably be up in the next ten minutes or so, and headed to and Changbins room.

When I reached their door, I knocked lightly. "Hey, Hyunjin, Changbin, time to get up," I whispered, not wanting to be too loud.
