Blair helps me move my last few boxs into my shared dorm room, I havent meet my roomate yet but her side of the room is already set up and looks cool as hell. Once we finish moving me in and decorating my side, we take a step back.
"Lowkey yalls vibes match so well, I think you might actually have a chill rommie" Blair says admiring our work. She was right though, the over all vibe was the same with the vines and posters but definitely different ends of the same vibe.

"You know what youre so right, she might even replace you" I say as I bump my hip against her teasing
"Thats not even funny Anabella Marie Collins" she says with a stern look on her face
"Oh shit, not the full government name. Come on lets go explore campus before you have to leave and I'm forced to make friends" we walk out of my dorm building and walk around outside just talking about anything and everything. We spend two hours just walking not wanting to leave each others sides, we find ourselves back at her car and my cheeks are wet with tears.
"Ana, I promise now that I can get in my car and drive here to visit I will. SO you better invest in a good mattress topper you know how picky I am" She says as she wipes my tears.
"You can come visit any time you want, you dont even need to text me just show up you know where I live" I say trying to calm down, knowing shes only about 2 hours away makes me feel so much better. Going through life without her really sucked.
She gets in her car after one last long hug and drives off. I walk back into my room and see my roommate sitting at her desk with a keyboard set up. She stops playing and looks up.
"Oh hey you must be Anabella I'm Aria" She says as she just sits there looking at me seeming to catalog everything about me. I take advantage of this time to observe her too. She has messy wavy blonde hair like she just rolled out of bed or had an intense makeout session. She has minimal makeup on just the leftover of what looks like to be waterlined eyeliner and mascara, I cant help but notice her lips, they look so plump and shiny like she just put lip gloss on. I shake my head trying to snap out of whatever trance I was just in.
"Um yeah hi, its nice to meet you" I say feeling a little awkward as I walk over to my bed and sit.
"Your like really pretty, I think we are going to be really good friends" she says with a warm smile on her face.
"Oh thank you youre um really pretty too" I say really thrown off. "Anyway, I was thinking we could have a get to know each other night, we can go get snacks, I have some icebreaker questions and maybe we can just play some games" I say feeling a little insecure, a couple seconds go by and shes just looking at me with a small smile tugging at her lips "I mean only if you want, if its totally lame we dont have to" I ramble out.
"No, that sounds fun. I just find it funny watching you squirm, you should really be more confident. Confidence is hot." She says now fully smiling at me.
"Yeah its something I'm trying to work on." I say. We go out to get snacks and sit on the floor of our room going back and forth asking questions. We both realized that we had to be up early tomorrow for out official tour and welcome to Uconn, so we both decide to go to bed.
POV Paige
My alarm goes off around 8am, I groan and reach for my phone. Me and KK got paired up to take the new music students on a tour of campus this morning we are meeting them outside of their dorm building since they all got put in the same dorm.
I change into a nice casual outfit, put my hair in a pony, brush my teeth and start make breakfast for KK and I. While I'm finishing the eggs and toast pops out of the toaster KK walks out of her room like she knew food was ready.
"So are you excited to meet all the new students?" I ask my mind wondering back to the redhead that has been taking up too much space in im brain.
"Oh yeah especially because they all wont be freshman, most of them will be like in-between our ages so we might find some new bestiesss" She respond way to loud and energetic to have just woken up.
"We gotta eat fast we only have 10 minutes til we supposed to met them outside" I respond like a person who literally just rolled outta bed.
We walk up to a group of people already knowing its them, as we come up closer I immediately look for Anabella but cant find her. "Hmm thats strange" I mumble.
"What is?" KK says a smile on her face as we come to stop in front of the group.
"We are missing at least one person" I say trying my hardest to keep any emotions to show on my face.
KK smirks "Let me guess the cute lil redhead, I already clocked that girly" Just as she finsihes her sentence two girls come running out of the doors holding hands and giggling.
I recognize them straight away, its Anabella and Aria. As they come to a stop their hands stay linked and I just stare at that fact. I raise my eyes to meet Anabellas she drops Arias hand and fidgets with her fingers "Hi, we are sorry for being late, our alarms must not have went off" she says in a low voice.
"Haha, as if we set alarms. Hi my name is Aria sorry we forgot to set an alarm before we fell asleep at least we didnt miss anything important right?" Aria says looking at me with a confidence her smaller counterpart didnt have.
"No problem girly pops, we just go here too. Hello everyone my name is KK and this is Paige we are both on the Women's Basketball team here and have been ask to show yall around campus today" KK says raising her voice so everyone can hear her. I give a small wave when she introduces me.
"Yup good to see everyone made it, let get this thing started shall we" I say as we start our tour, we were instructed to end at Gampel for our little mixer to start.
