Love & War *Theo Raeken*

Chapter 2

Scott didn't take me on board and nobody is telling me anything about Allison. It's aggravating but I'm going need him to trust me, especially with what's coming. I'm afraid that we are all going to be in a lot of trouble.

As soon as I got home, I took my cornrows out and my hair was a MESS.

I had to go wash it and all that good shit before doing one big braid. When I woke the up next day, the hair wasn't quite how I expected but nonetheless I grabbed a wide comb and combed through it. 

Once I take a selfie I head out. I always take selfies because something always appears. There is always a shape of an animal but I can't tell because it's all bright lights. 

I used to think that I was a Kitsune but I'm something more but yet I'm so similar.

Once I take a step outside my new home, I look around. My eyes narrow and flash gold as I scan the Beacon Hills Preserve. I live right next to it and it actually surrounds the right side of my home.

I take off and let's just say I decided to take a run. I ran all the way to school which also confuses me, I have the speed of a werewolf. 

Once I make it to the High School, everyone stops and stares at me. I decide to strut down the hallway, giving out a few winks along the way. I spot Scott and can't help but frown at him. 

Idiot.

I head to the reception where I go collect my timetable and my locker number. I instantly start grinning when I see Theo. He wraps his arms around me as his hands lightly graze my bum before he gives it a quick squeeze. 

There is still something off about him but I hope that I don't get hurt in the process. I give him a quick peck on the lips as we leave the office. 

We are not going out nor are we considering it. I just like to have fun and he seems to have it BUT I'm still pissed off with him. He ruined my chances of being in the pack, which he will most definitely pay for. 

We make our way to AP Biology. I may have 'persuaded' the receptionist to have me put in this class because I knew that Scott McCall would be here. 

I spot Lydia and the Kitsune as soon as we walk in. I pull Theo towards the back and we settle down with our hands intertwined. There is something different about him and I intend to find out whether that means getting close to him or not.

I narrow my eyes as I watch the Alpha walk in, I look at Theo from the corner of my eyes and all he's doing is smirking. 

"Welcome to AP Biology." Mrs Finch says. I roll my eyes and pull my hands away from Theo. "Let's see whose awake. Can someone tell me what plasmids are?" 

The rest of the lesson went somewhat smoothly. How are we having a test TOMORROW?! Also, Scott didn't seem to pleased to see both Theo and I in the class.

After lesson Theo grabs onto my arm and leads me to the boys locker room where Scott and Stiles are. I take a seat on the bleacher as Theo begins to tell the story on how he was bitten. 

I can't help but think that he's either lying or is just hiding some important details. Why him of all people? He should be dead already, lone wolves never survive on their own. 

"Scott, listen to my pulse. I'm telling the truth."

I tense as Stiles uncrosses his arms and interrupts, "Right. Or you just know how to steady your heart rate while you're lying your ass off." The human has a point.

"Why would I lie?" I narrow my eyes at Theo. He quickly flashes me a look. 

"Because maybe you're not who you say you are." I start to daydream as Theo goes into another speech.

It almost seems planned as if this scene was rehearsed so many times but hey, I don't know any of them.

"... I'm hoping you are too." The bell rings and Theo sighs, "I better not be late for class. You're not the only ones I need to make a good impression on." Then he leaves... without me.

It's like they all forgot that I'm here.

Scott and Stiles then get into a mini arguement about Theo so I decide to interrupt.

"Hello! Still here? I want to join the pack."

Scott just stares at me, "Why are you here? Who sent you?"

"Allison did. Where is she?"

"You don't know what happened, do you?" I roll my eyes at him.

"I wouldn't be asking, now tell me." I did notice that my voice came out as if two people were speaking in unison. 

Scott sits down besides me and takes a hold of my hands. It seemed as if everything was going in slow motion. He went on to explain the Nogitunse taking over Stiles and him taking control of the Oni causing Allison to die. 

As the tears fall down my face, I don't take into account that I've grabbed a hold of Stiles and I'm lifting him up by the neck. My neck tightens around his neck as Scott tries to order me to stop. I feel my feet leave the floor. 

"Let him go." He tried to order me, Alpha style. I whip my head around and I shout. 

"YOU'RE NOT MY ALPHA!" I feel my eyes flashing and my face changing. I snarl at Stiles before letting go and bolting out of the school. 

I did scratch a few people along the way but I didn't care. 

Once I make it home I jump onto the balcony and push my way into my room. I run to the bathroom and scream at what I see.

My face has morphed into a werewolf but my eyes glow black like a demon. Whiskers have grown out of my face and my nails are longer than a werewolves. 

I smash the mirror as I howl. 

I look hideous. WHAT THE HELL AM I?
