Chapter 18

I instruct Stiles and Hayden to take Liam inside seeing as he got the worst of it. 

The Beast scratched me up pretty bad but I'll heal, I always do.    

I head inside to find the beast, I push past the screaming people before slowing down near a door which is now engraved with claw marks.

I follow the marks all the way into the library where I see Scott who looks ready to attack until he realises that it's me.

"Kiana." He says in shock as he takes in my appearance, "Are you hurt?"

I grin at him. "I'll be fine, I always am."     

I sniff the air before looking in the direction of the human girl. I roll my eyes as I position my self close to Scott. 

"Go upstairs!" Scott instructs and I see several humans run up. 

I clench my jaw as I hear the beast growl. It bursts through the doors and I feel my eyes change before letting out a power scream of my own. 

LYDIA!

I feel the power radiating off me.

I am able to get one hit on the beast before getting thrown into Scott. We hit the ground hard before the beast grabs Scott and chucks him to the other side of the library. 

I get up facing the beast who is standing infront of Scott. I'm not weak, I don't lose.

I will release the animal that is caged up. I'm not a werewolf. 

I am who I say I am.

I AM KIANA!

I let out another scream which slightly distracts it as Scott jumps at it. He gets beaten before being thrown to the stairs so I take my chance. 

I ignore the humans gasping at everything. I find something heavy to hit it with before flying in the air and hitting it in the face. Once I hit the ground I pull Scott to the side as someone begins shooting it.

I look up at the girl in shock.

"Braeden." I whisper as she gives me a wink as she continues shooting it. The beast eventually jumps out of the window and the rest come to help Scott out.

 "You didn't seriously think you were gonna have a chance against that thing, did you?" Braeden says and I smile at her.

"No." "Yes." Both Scott and I reply before looking at eachother and nodding, "But we got its scent."

I start running with Scott limping behind me as the others call out for us. Liam follows behind us telling us to calm down since we'd been hurt.

We scurry through the car park as I sniff out the scent and we are not too far off. 

I can smell him.

Scott stops at the car and my eyes widen at who it may be. I pull open the trunk with ease before looking at Liam with narrowed eyes.

Scott pulls out the converse before turning it around to reveal the blood underneath it. Bingo.

I pull down the trunk with a thud, looking up to see Mason staring at us.   

"Kiana? Scott? What are you doing to my car?" Liam looks at him in shock and I give him a lazy look. 

"It's you." I softly say 

"What?" I let out a fake chuckle as he turns to Liam, "Liam, what's he talking about? Liam?"

 He takes a step forward and I growl at him, halting him in his steps. The invisible reveals himself, grabbing a hold of Mason before disappearing.

"Corey, wait!" I always knew that I hated Corey. "Corey, wait!"

I look at my phone, I just received a text from the Headmistress which is quite rare. 

I tell Scott that I'll see him later before hurrying off home. 

"You look like me." I almost smile at the warmth in her voice.

"Are you here as the Headmistress or as my mother?" I ask as I shut the door. 

"I'd watch my tone." She says in a monotone before sighing. "I know that you want to know what you are."

I nod eagerly at this and she gestures for me to sit which I do.

"I'm a Goddess." I inhale sharply at this. "And your father was a trouble maker. He was half werewolf and half demon."

Demon. That explains the black eyes. 

I never knew of my family history nor my father, I only knew my mother and the wolves that she left me with. 

"I am so proud of your journey, Kia but it was a bad combination." My face drops, "You are something a lot worse than what I imagined. You are so much more powerful."

"What do you mean?"  

"If you can't control your powers or gain control over yourself then you'll kill everyone in Beacon Hills before moving on to other places. You are the Destroyer of the world." A tear slides down her face. "Never would I thought that this would happen to you. You will be a monster; half god, quarter werewolf and quarter demon."

"Why am I so attached to Lydia?"

"The Banshee." She slightly smiles before it fades, "It's the demon in you that connects with her, you are the bearer of death. Plus the wolf in you connects with her seeing as you are part of the pack."

Her eyes then drifts towards my stomach. 

"You're pregnant." She states while clearing her throat. Her eyes slide back up to meet mine. "I don't know how it survived the stabbing, you need to get rid of it."

"MOM!" I scream in shock while trying to process things. 

"Theo is a chimera. That inside of you will be worse than you, it's an abomination." I screw my face up at her words.

"How dare you?" I say.      

"If you don't get rid of that baby then I will remove it for you and put you back into my boarding school. You will not have contact with any supernatural besides myself."
