Heading south

Why?

A-"Lucy, I need you to calm down honey."
Angela is cleaning Lucy up when Jackson comes in.
J-"Hey guys I got the wi-.. Lucy? Are you okay?"
A-"Jackson not now, I need the first aid."
J-"Okay!" Jackson goes to grab it, and then Angela finishes cleaning her arms and thighs.
A-"Lucy you are staying in my room tonight so I know nothing will happen."
L-"fine." Lucy gets up and lays on the couch. There is a knock at the door.
L-"I got it." Lucy opens the door. She sees Tim standing there.
T-"Um hey, I just wanted to apologize. I shouldn't have sent those texts. I was caught up in the moment and.." Lucy cuts him off.
L-"No Tim. Shut the hell up. You don't get to come in here right after you cheated on me. And then send me those texts. You don't get to do that. So get the hell off of my porch."
T-"Luce. I'm sorry baby, I told you that. And I don't think the text affected you? You look perfectly fine to me." Lucy starts shouting.
L-"PERFECTLY FINE TIM? I WAS IN THE BATHROOM FOR HOURS THROWING UP MY FOOD AND THATS NOT EVEN ALL." She lifts her sleeves and pants. "IT DIDNT AFFECT ME? GET OUT. LAST TIME BEFORE I CALL THE COPS." Tim looks alarmed.
L-"AND DONT YOU EVER THINK ABOUT CALLING ME LUCE AND BABY EVER AGAIN. I HOPE I NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN." And then Lucy slams the door. Angela comes running to the door as she hears yelling. Lucy starts hitting the door.
A-"Lucy, lucy calm down it's okay." Lucy starts panicking.
A-"JACKSON. SHE IS HAVING A PANICK ATTACK." Jackson runs in and does the same thing that Tim used to do.
L-"I don't want to be in LA anymore. I wish I was never here." Lucy and Angela walk to her room. Lucy opens her laptop and starts looking up stuff. Angela is trying to sleep but can't due to the clicks of the keyboard.
A-"Lucy it's 1:37AM, why the hell are you still googling stuff." Lucy looks over.
L-"apartments. I don't want to be here anymore. I'm moving to San Diego." Angela sits up.
A-"I'm sorry you are doing what now?"
L-"I'm serious." Angela has a confused look on her face.
A-"Well I'm coming too. And that's decided no buts I'm coming."
L-"Then it's decided. I'm working on buying the house." Angela smiles.
A-"Man I'm gonna miss Nyla and Captain."
L-"We will see them eventually just not now."
A-"Can I ask you something?"
L-"Sure.."
A-"Why Lucy? Why did your immediate response to this is to do that to yourself?"
L-"I don't really know.. I mean it happened a few times in highschool but I didn't tell anyone."
A-"I'm sorry Lu." Lucy loved when Angela called her Lu.
L-"It's fine. I'm tired though." They both go to bed. They have the day off, and Lucy gets an email from the home owner.
'To Lucy Chen: Your offer on this apartment has been accepted, you are free to move in tomorrow or anytime this week.'
L-"YES! I GOT IT."
A-"YOU DID?? WHEN CAN YOU MOVE IN?"
L-"Anytime." Angela and Lucy smirk and run to their rooms to grab everything of theirs. When Jackson comes home from work he sees all of their suitcases.
J-"What's happening?"
A,L-"Me and Lucy and gonna go to San Diego for a while, you can have the house. We are leaving tomorrow. We are turning in our papers tonight."
J-"Oh. Will I ever see you again?"
A-"Yeah, eventually."
J-"Okay.." Jackson frowns. Lucy and Angela give him a hug.
L-"got the plane tickets. One way to San Diego." Angela and Lucy load up the car, then they make their way to the station.
