Págo and Icecube had fake left the Masked a few days ago and began stalking Bog and Ivyring, unfortunately neither of them had left in days until today. Today, Bog and Ivyring had said they were going on a small retreat, so Págo and Icecube began to follow them.
As they followed Ivyring and Bog, they entered a small very forested area just off of the mainland near the Icewing kingdom. Págo knew it would give away their position if they went over they sea and were spotted but whatever was at that island might give them proof that Bog and Ivyring were the traitors.
Quickly, Págo motioned for Icecube to follow him, they both quickly and silently flew over the small gap in the sea between the forested island and the mainland of Pyrrhia. Despite how quickly they passed and how nobody seemed to be around Págo couldn't help but feel uneasy.
Slowly sneaking through the forestry, Icecube and Págo eventually found Bog and Ivyring with Swiftclaws. Págo quickly turned to say something to Icecube but he was missing, before Págo could panic someone pinned him down and quickly tied up with a chain locked around his muzzle.
Pain suddenly hit Págo as he was then rolled down to where the three were meeting, he hit a tree before finally coming to a stop. "Well, if it isn't our little pal, Págo." Said Ivyring as she glared down at him, Págo attempted to throw insults at her but his snout was entirely locked by the chain around it.
Suddenly, another dragon came rolling down the hill also chained up, it was Icecube, he slammed directly into Págo before coming to a stop. Suddenly the dragon who caught both of them stepped out, it was a Icewing-Rainwing hybrid, Págo did not recognize her at all.
"Good work catching the spies, Iberis." Ivyring said, looking up at her as she slowly descended from the hill. Págo was entirely confused as he recognized the name Iberis as the dragon who hated all skywings, even hybrids, so why was she working with Swiftclaws?
Seemingly seeing the confusion on his face Iberis began to speak, "I bet you're wondering why I am working with two idiots and a filthy skywing?" Bog and Ivyring seemed unbothered by her words but Swiftclaws seemed annoyed as Iberis then said, "Well to put it simply, they offered me two things I can't refuse, Scarlet and Secretary, all to myself and I'm more than willing to have to work with a skywing hybrid if I can get those two!"
Swiftclaws then said, "Why exactly are you telling them this?" Iberis then said, "Well, if we're gonna kill them anyways might as well tell them why we're not killing each other." Bog suddenly butted in, "We're not killing them, that's the icewing prince, Icecube, killing him could lead to troubles with the icewing kingdom as for Págo..."
There was a moment of hesitation, Págo was ready to die before Bog then said, "If he's with the prince he must have some importance, so killing him could have similar problems." Swiftclaws then said, "Well, we can't exactly let them go, they'll definitely ruin our plans."
Ivyring then said, "Yes, they would be a problem... But I know who can keep them hidden long enough for our plans, Iberis, would you mind freeing up a cell or two to keep these two in?" Iberis nodded and said, "Yeah, I can free up two cells." She had a smile that said she was more excited to free up the two cells more than anything.
Págo felt a large burst of fear, there was definitely a large chance that they'd die before whatever plan these four had planned even got close to being finished. Págo could only silently hope that something would cause them to escape so they could ruin this plan before it began fully.
