𖨆𐬺𞠬𐬺𖨆

I'm turning the corner of Colony House, almost yelling when Victor comes out of nowhere. "Victor. What are you doing out here again?" I see Victor here a few times with his small notebook in hand and his lunchbox wrapped around him like a side purse.

"I'm-Im doing something important." He says without looking at me.

I look down at his shoes and see them get so dirty with the mud on the ground. "Alright well, be careful not slip and fall on the mud. I don't want you to get hurt." I smile at him and adjust the full basket of clothes resting on my hip before walking over to the hanging rack where I start pinning the clothes up to dry.

Ellis is currently with the Julie's dad, Jim. He took Jim to the RV where the family came in to get the rest of their stuff. So now I'm just here...on laundry duty.

"Hey, Flora!" I turn around as I just finish pinning up the last piece of laundry. I'm met with my best friend and the most beautiful blonde I've ever laid eyes upon.

Not including her mother and sister.

"Lily-Rose, do what do I owe the visit from the prettiest blonde in town."

"Don't let my sister hear you say that. She'll get all jealous and mad at you." Her and I share a laugh as I pick up the now empty laundry basket from the ground. "But seriously. Lily. What are you doing here? I thought you'd be at the diner with Kenny's mom like you always are."

"Well, I had a thought..."

"And what was that?"

"I wanted...to make Ten-chen one of the many recipes she's shared with me...an apple pie."

"So, why are you here?" I say as I walk over to the back of the house where I place the laundry basket inside the door to the side before closing it again and facing Lily-Rose. "Well, I was wondering if I could get some of your apples—Just three." She holds up three fingers. "Doesn't Tian-Chen—" I realize. "Right...you don't want her finding out do you...since it's for her. It's a gift to cheer her up?"

"Your so smart." She smiles which makes me smile and shrug. I place the basket down onto the front porch before turning my full attention to Lily-Rose.

"Sure, yeah, you know you can always have apples from our apple tree. Donna doesn't mind as long as she likes you. And Donna very much likes you—mainly because of the way you make lasagna taste good with little ingredients." She laughs and follows me to the apple tree.
