walking up with no hangover headache and no throwing up is a good feeling, but something I wont be doing any time soon

i grabbed my phone from the night stand and do my morning scroll

as i was scrolling on tik tok knocks come from outside of the room "come in"i yell, it turns out to be sarah with a tray of breakfast

"morning sarah" i squeal taking the tray and placing it infront of me "morning gen" she laughs

"so since when do you cook?"i asked giving her a suspicious look "actually it wasn't me.... it was rafe"

"and you're positive he's not trying to poison me?" i asked she laughed "positive"

"......okay" i hesitated making her giggle she laid back on the headboard as we talked about out plans for midsummers

"you know suddenly i don't wanna go" she told me "what why?" i asked token back

"because things with me and topper aren't exactly great.." she paused

"yesterday we were on the rooftop and we were talking about the stars and we started kissing and i told him i was ready to have sex with him"she explained and took another pause

"he untied my bikini and i suddenly wasn't ready and he thinks i'm playing with his feelings and then he got mad and left" she sighed

"sarah i've told you topper isn't for you" i picked up a piece of pineapple for later

"i know" she sighed and cuddled next to me i wrapped her in my arms and tangled my legs with hers

we started like that for 15 minutes "so are you you going?" i asked breaking the hug to look at her

" i mean i don't wanna go but as rose said "your fathers being coronated as guardian of knights of the rhododendron" she mimicked

i let out a stifle chuckle "we've been talking about it since last year and PLUS remember the after party"i smirked

"and we have to go get our nails and hair done and pick out dresses" i wiggle my eyebrows

"ughhh you're right" she smiled "uhh yeah i am" i gave her a duh face

"we should start midsummers is this sunday"i said getting up

"what day is it?" she asked "friday" i blurted
while she made a 'o' face

i went in the bathroom and got ready we both did out makeup and called an uber

"wait this is a new store right?"sarah pointed and asked "wait oh my gosh yeah let's go in?" i asked
"duhhh" she pulled my hand and dragged me inside

"wait these are so pretty" i touched all of them, after being there for 20 minutes sarah had found a super pretty white dress it was simple but it suited her so well

"what color do you want?"she asked "i was thinking like baby blue?"i questioned "yess that'd be so cute"

she started helping me look when she yelled across the store "GENN" "YEAH??" i yelled back

"COME HERE" i heard her say back i made my way to where i think she was

and there she was holding up the perfect blue dress "sarah im bout to kiss you" i said as i walked up to her

i took the dress from her "perfect" i whispered i went to go try it on and it was truly perfect

it went down my curves perfectly and was tight in the right places

after changing out of the dress me and sarah went to go pay

"let's get food?" i asked "actually rose is making dinner and wanted you to come" she said

"okay fun"i went on my phone go get an uber to tanny hill

we made it to tanny hill after like 20 minutes "thank you" i said before closing the door

sarah opened the door lights off "hello?" she yelled "in the kitchen" rose yelled

"sarah i'm going to the bathroom i'll take your bag to your room" she nodded and handed me her bag

making my way to her room i opened it and left the bags on her door

i closed the door and went to her bathroom only for it to open and reveal rafe with a towel around his waist

i couldn't help myself but to check him out "hello??, genevieve?" rafe waved his hands in my face

"done staring?" he asked smirking "shut it i have to pee" i put my hand on his bicep trying to move him out of the way

of course that's didn't help, i felt his arm tighten i stare at his arm so toned

i want him to choke me with it i mean what???
did i really just have that thought

"jeez gen how long are you gonna stare?" he asked "if you moved i wouldn't have stared" i rolled my eyes as he chuckled and smiled before entering his room

i closed the door and sat on the toilet what the fuck i've never thought of rafe like that

he's my best friends brother and my brother's best friend
