502 AD, Nightfall, Eternos

In the early morning, Sapphira awoke rather unnerved. She acknowledged her nasty behavior the following night and hoped to make it right.

Praying for the downfall of an innocent child was monstrous of her, and she wished to unsay her words to the Prince, but some things were not so easily forgotten. Forgiving Prince Remus for what he had done was one not-so-forgettable.

Sapphira was never too keen on sharing, so why was she forced to now? Could she not have Prince Remus to herself? Why had Overseer Considia to be in the picture?

Sümbüla walked into the Chambers as if he owned it and hoped to find a better version of Sapphira. What he had witnessed the day before, terrified him. He would never want her to harm herself because of another. She was stronger than such.

At her Vanity, Sapphira brushed through her hair and prepared herself for the long day ahead. She acknowledged Overseer Considia would make her life a living burning flame. "I have no time to speak, Sümbüla. I have to see Prince Remus."

"Have you and the Prince resolved your problems?" he asks.

"No, my problem still walks and she will do so until that child is born," Sapphira responds. Overseer Considia was not much of a powerful adversary but with that child in her belly, she had clearly become a problem.

Sapphira would allow the child to live as if it were innocent and caught in the crossfire of two mad women. But when it was delivered boy or girl, she would find a way to destroy Overseer Considia at once.

"You want her to deliver this child?" Sümbüla asked dumbfounded. Unlike Sapphira, he could not understand why she showed mercy to the child but perhaps he would never know.

"The Child of the beast is innocent." No matter how extended her hatred was, she could never hurt a child. She adored children and prayed for her own one day.

If she ever harmed a child, she would not know how to live with herself. "And if it is a boy?"

"Then he will be the illegitimate son of Prince Remus. Overseer Considia does not use her mind to get her way but her emotions. She can try to put him on the Throne, but it will never happen. She does not know how to play the Game of Royalty." Overseer Considia could certainly try but everyone knew to separate a dream from reality.

She was not intelligent enough to pull something as big as this. Birthing the child would make him or her an illegitimate child of Prince Remus.

If a boy is born, and Overseer Considia wishes to have him on the Throne, she would have to convince the Imperial Council to grant him a title, have him brought before the Gods, and hope it to be chosen to represent the Church in the name of the Faith and eventually, the Folk would have to bend the knee to him, willingly.

No Imperial Member in their rightful mind would agree to such and no Gods would choose a bastard to represent the Faith of the Five Gods, and the Folk of the City would rather put the realm to the torch than see a Bastard ascend the High Throne.

House Stark remained pure, and nothing could change such... no bastard and no mistress.

"Your Royal Highness," walking into the Chambers, Sapphira curtsied to the Prince.

His eyes lit up as she appeared in front of him. He had hoped she would forgive him and remain his. "Good Morning, Sapphira,"

"May we speak?" She asks.

Nodding his head, Prince Remus stands up from his Working desk and approaches Sapphira. He wondered what words they would exchange. Was it to be the same page as the day before or had the page been turned?
