Her words caused him to stop in his tracks, a frown creasing his brow as the tension in the room thickened. Everyone held their breath, captivated by the unfolding drama, sensing that she had either instilled doubt in him or struck a nerve. Jimin's gaze roamed the room until it landed on another pair of eyes, his smirk growing wider. Just then, a faint shuffle at the locked door drew everyone's attention. Moments later, the door burst open, crashing to the ground with a resounding thud.

The noise reverberated through the space, causing the chains to rattle, while dust swirled in the air, creating a hazy atmosphere. As the dust settled, the onlookers' eyes widened in shock, except for Jimin and another individual who wore matching smirks. Standing there with an air of nonchalance and grace were four figures, their clothes and bodies splattered with blood—Minho, Gong Yoo, In Pyo, and Jin Hee.

In Pyo kicked the door aside as Minho stepped forward, whistling. He held a severed head by its hair, advancing with a casual demeanor.

"Tsk tsk tsk, dear rivals. Your senior head guard is both cocky and cowardly," he remarked, tossing the head toward Dojin. Although Dojin caught it, the sight of the disembodied head made his skin crawl, prompting him to toss it aside with trembling hands.

The four of them chuckled as Taehoon mustered the courage to voice his thoughts.

"Y-you how the hell did you all get here? I thought—" he stammered, only to be interrupted by Gong Yoo.

"What you thought is irrelevant. We are here to reclaim what you have taken from us," he said, his gaze sweeping over the group until it landed on Taehoon's back. He noticed a pair of legs dangling from the table.

His frown deepened as he pushed past Taehoon, his eyes widening in horror. The pulse in his body quickened, his vision blurred, and his head spun. There, before him, was the light of his life—his soulmate, his wife—whom he had not seen in twelve long years, half-naked, bruised, and in pain.

Her limbs were restrained as her hazel eyes locked onto his dark ones, tears streaming down her face in an unending flow, accompanied by sobs and hiccups. He tenderly cupped her cheeks in his hands, gently wiping away her tears with his thumb.

"S-soojin," he managed to utter through his own tears.

"Y-yes, jagiya, it's me, your Soojin," she replied, attempting to steady her emotions as he spoke in a low, menacing tone.

"KEYS!" he commanded, maintaining their intense gaze.

The four older men hesitated, reluctant to retreat, yet aware that their guards had been incapacitated by the four fierce individuals before them. Mr. Park, trembling, slowly approached and quietly placed the keys on the table before quickly retreating to his position. Without breaking eye contact, he unlocked her restraints and helped her sit up, removing his shirt and draping it over her before lifting her off the table and settling her into a nearby chair.

"I apologize for everything you've endured over the years. I failed as a husband and as your protector. Punish me however you wish, but please, never leave me again. I was a mere shell without you," he said, gently caressing her cheeks.

The onlookers watched with tears in their eyes as Jinhee stepped forward, snatching the keys from Mr. Park and shooting him a glare that could have been lethal. he tossed one key to Minho, and together they began unlocking the chains, while In Pyo stood watch near the four men to prevent any further trouble and their casual bullshit that they all like to pull on daily basis.

When Minho reached Sandara, he remained silent, his gaze lowered as he carefully inserted the key into her lock.

"I’m angry with you, you know that, right?" she said softly, noticing his unusual demeanor.

"I know!" he replied gently.

She added, "I also feel the urge to slap you twelve times for not reaching out to me over the past twelve years. You’re aware of that, aren’t you?"

"I know," he responded softly, keeping his head down and his gaze averted.

"I’ve missed our children and you immensely. Are you aware of that?"

"I know," he replied, setting the chain aside while still looking down.

"... You have nothing to say, unlike Gong Yoo did to Soojin? Was it only me who missed you?" she said, her voice tinged with sadness, tears welling in her eyes.

"Believe me, nemesis, I’m struggling to contain my words, actions, and tears," he said, his own eyes beginning to glisten. Hearing that nickname after twelve years made her feel as if her very bones were melting, especially as she noticed his flushed face and the effort he was making to hold himself together.

"And what exactly are those actions?" Her words finally pierced through his defenses, causing a tear to escape.

"...I... I want to embrace you so tightly that our bodies and souls merge, to kiss every part of you from head to toe, to weep in your arms for the years we’ve lost, to express how deeply I and our children have longed for their mother. I want to tell you how much my eyes yearn for your smile, how my soul craves yours, how my body longs for your touch, how my ears miss your sweet, honeyed voice, how my lips ache for your soft, petal-like lips. Our children miss their mother, and our home longs to be called ours again," he said, wiping away his tears as everyone observed the emotional reunion of the couple after twelve years.

"As much as I want to dwell on this moment, Dad and Uncle, we need to proceed to the next step," Taehyung interjected, rubbing his wrist as he approached Jisoo.

Laughter erupted, but the mention of the next step in plan brought frowns to everyone’s faces except for the older men, Jimin, and Taehyung (the one in question).

"What do you mean by the next step? As far as i remember the plan we made flopped, Taehyung, you’re hiding something, aren’t you?" Jennie asked, her expression a mix of confusion and curiosity.

"Perhaps," he replied with a smirk.
