His words elicited frowns from everyone in the room except for a few.

"Taehyung, what on earth are you saying?" Jisoo exclaimed, glaring at him.

"Well, kitten, you are listening, right? I was indeed keeping something from all of you," he replied, twirling the chain keys in his hand. Confusion spread across the faces of those present.

Meanwhile, Lisa sensed something shifting slightly away from her. With everyone focused on Taehyung, she decided to glance beside her, and that’s when she felt the color drain from her face, her breath caught in her throat, eyes wide, and mouth agape.

"...AHHHHHHHHHHHH A GHOSTTTTTTTTTTTT ROSE'SSSSSS GHOSTTTTTTTTT!" Her scream echoed throughout the room, causing everyone to turn their heads frantically toward her and then at Rose's body. At that moment, they heard a thud; it was J-Hope, lying unconscious on the floor after witnessing her. The cause of the commotion was Rose, who was sitting comfortably, fully conscious, and casually wiping the blood off her hands, her doe eyes looking at everyone in confusion.

"Why are you all staring at me like that? It's as if you've seen a ghost," she asked, shrugging her shoulders. Jisoo narrowed her eyes.

"As much as I adore my sister, there’s no way I’m dealing with her ghost right now," Lisa remarked, crawling away and standing behind the injured Jungkook, who was silently observing the scene from a chair.

"Tf! I'm not a ghost, you idiot!" Rose retorted, sounding offended as she continued to wipe the blood.

She glanced at Lisa and then at her bloodied body, chuckling, "It's fake, Dumbo."

"Forget about that; we can sort this out at home. First, we need to deal with these bastards properly," Irene stated, eyeing the four older men with disgust. Everyone nodded in agreement as Dojin gritted his teeth.

"You all will regret this," he warned after being pushed forward by J-Hope.

"For that, you need to be alive, jerk," Suga replied as the four men were urged to keep moving, their hands cuffed behind them as they exited. Everyone walked out the mansion, while jisoo and taehyung were walking at the back they would have made their way a bit away from the mansion when taehyung remembered his his next step in their plan.

He leaned in near jisoo's ear and whispered, "Hey..."

"Be quiet."

"Are you upset?"

"Be quiet."

"I—"

"I told you to be quiet."

"I love you, kitten."

"I... sighed... I love you too, but... just stop talking!" she retorted, stomping her heel down on his foot.

"Ow... baby..." he winced in pain, then chuckled as he stepped back.

"Everyone, stop where you are," he declared, standing firm as everyone turned to look at him in confusion.

"What now?" Jennie asked, her annoyance evident.

Ignoring her, he approached the elder women of their house.

"Could all four of you please step forward?" he requested, and the four elderly ladies moved hesitantly toward him.

"Is everything okay, son?" Soojin asked, concern etched on her face.

He nodded and handed them a remote with a red button.

"Remember all the terrible things that happened to you, and press this button together," he instructed, as they exchanged puzzled yet intrigued glances, cautiously taking the remote from him.

"One."

"Two."

"Three." As the button was pressed, a loud explosion echoed.

💥BOOOOOMMMMM💥

They watched in shock as the mansion erupted into flames, reduced to ashes before their eyes. This was the place where every corner held dark memories, where walls had borne witness to unspeakable suffering and cries for mercy. The entire structure was obliterated with a single click. Tears welled in their eyes; Soojin and Sandara recalled their own harrowing experiences as prisoners there, enduring pain for the sake of their families. Even Sung Ryung and Jin Kyung shed tears, understanding the torment their friends had faced, albeit for a shorter time, as they too had endured their own hell within those walls.

The four older men were clenching their jaws to contain their frustration, only to receive a blow to the head from their adversaries, known as Gong Yoo, Minho, Jin Hee, and In Pyo.

The emotional turmoil soon subsided as everyone settled into their vehicles. The men were confined to a van while their rivals remained inside to monitor them. The mothers were comfortably seated in another car, and Jungkook was hurried to the hospital, accompanied by Lisa, Irene, Jin, J-Hope, and Namjoon.

In a separate vehicle, Suga, Jennie, and Jimin were together, while Jisoo and Taehyung occupied the last car.

Taehyung was at the wheel, with Jisoo in the passenger seat, gazing out the window.

"A lot has happened, hasn't it?" he asked softly, keeping his focus on the road.

"Hmm," she replied without turning to him, prompting him to sigh and pull over.

"I think we need to have a conversation," he said, turning to face her.

"I thought you didn't want to... I mean, you prefer to keep things to yourself," she responded, her expression neutral.

"...I apologize," he said gently, taking her hands in his.

"A band-aid won't fix bullet wounds, Taehyung. I thought you trusted me enough to be your partner through every aspect of life," she replied, withdrawing her hand, only for him to cup her face tenderly.

"I truly am sorry, kitten, and I trust you with my life. I know I shouldn't have kept things from you, but it was necessary due to our fathers' plans. Remember that night before our mission? I was preoccupied with phone calls and was quite busy because the elders warned that those four men could easily outsmart us if we had a single plan. So, we devised a backup plan known only to the elder males, me, Rose, and Jimin," he explained, his thumb gently stroking her cheek.

"Ehh... So you weren't the one who created this backup plan?"

"Nope!"

"Another question"

"Ask me all you want baby no need to seek permission from me"

"Hmm...But we thought Rose was the one betraying us, right?"

"Yes!"

"So? How I mean... it's hella confusing"

"I know, baby," he replied, causing her to frown.

"I found it difficult to comprehend everything. If Rose was not the traitor and Jimin was the one deceiving us, how could you incorporate both of them into your scheme? I realized that Rose was not the one betraying us when the men revealed that Jimin was part of their team, but... it’s all so perplexing." she expressed.

"Shall we revisit the flashback?" he suggested, giving her a gentle kiss on the forehead.
