Thorna pov:

i am currently getting ready for the first dragon training day, no I am not going to train to kill dragons. as told I don really like violence, though I would be without a job if there was no violence...

either way, I am going to make sure no one is gonna get hurt. Gothi has better things to do then watch teenagers scream and throw axes everywhere so she is sending me. at least that's what she told me. she also said it would be a great leaning experience for me. and Gobber is more of an leaning as you go into battle type of viking, so it will be allot of fun, i think.

as I am done brushing my hair, I grab my medic bag infant of the door, and some other stuff. and strap them to my belt. then I do a once over in the mirror, and run down stairs. mother is currently drinking some coffee in our living room, and I go up to her giving her a side hug.

"morning mom!" I say as I head to the kitchen to grab my breakfast. mom always packs a to go breakfast for me, as I usually go straight to work.

"good morning hun:" my mother replies with a soft tone. "you're going to oversee the dragon schools training today, right?"

"yes, honestly I can't wait. I mean Gobber is the teacher, it is bound to become a show to watch." I say as I sit down on the couch beside mom.

"Hah!yea I can believe that." mom says as she laughs with me. we sit there for a few minutes until I have to go.

"bye mom, see you tonight" I say as I am walking out the door, while waving.

"bye hun" she replies having bye as-well. mom has always been a very calm lady, despite being a viking, she never really gets mad over small stuff. and when she is mad, she doesn't throw a tantrum either. dad has also been more on the calm side. but you could say he is more like a silent but deadly type. he may not say much, but he will make you suffer if he wants to.

as I am walking trough the town I wave and greet people on my way. healing and taking care of the villagers has gotten me a pretty widely known in the town. I pretty much know everyone, and not gonna lie, I love it. I feel like I am never alone or without friends, it's great.

when I get to the arena I walk in to see Gobber staring at some shields on the ground. it was quite the sight, he looked as though he was thinking very deeply about something.

"hello, Gobber" I say as I am standing right behind him, giving him quite the scare. he whips around and sighs as he sees that was just me.

"great odin, you gonna scare the daylights out of me someday, little devil." he says to me as he looks back at the shields.

"what are you doing? have you lost you're mind?...more?" I say trying to get to the bottom of his weirder than usual behavior, and also being a little annoying.

"har, har very funny laddie. but no I just am going over my lesson plan I my head, that's all." he says as he turn around towards me again.

"don't worry goober, I believe you will do well. and if not I am here to clean and mend the wounds that might occur. plus you've done this for quite some time now. you know what you're doing." I say with a big smile, trying to calm down the viking.

"well, yes I know that. its just that we have always had some very promising dragon killers, or at least somewhat manageable ones. but this year, hiccup is joining. and I don't want Stoic to come home to a son missing a legg." Gobber says scratching the back of his neck.

"yea...-WHAIT A MINUTE. hiccup is joining the dragon academy?!?!" well that's a surprise, I never would have thought Stoic would practically sign his son up for suicide. I mean his great with inventions and his crazy ideas, but not so good in the physical department." who's crazy idea was that?!"  I say at a loss for words.
