The last three days in Bali with Marcus and his family has been pretty amazing. They have been nice to me and they are good people. I know by now I should have learnt that not everybody that smile to me are good people
But what can I say? I never learn
We visited some amazing places I only see on my phone. I had so much fun sliding down all diverse kinds of slides at the Waterbom Bali. There was different thrills and spills to cater the adrenaline jump I felt in that place.
We went to the Tegalalong Rice Terrance, it was my first time in a rice plantation, even the one in Nigeria can never be as beautiful this. We also visited the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and I could swear that one of the monkey winked at me
The last three days with Marcus had been the best days of my life, I mean I practically fucked my life in France and I don’t even give a fuck about it.
Tonight is our last night in Bali and we are about to have our dinner. I help set the table outside, under the golden light illuminated by the bulb over our heads. I carefully set the ceramics plates on the table and my eyes went to Marcus who was helping his brother, Dwayne with the food
He burst into laughter at what his brother said and I could not help myself but laugh too. Since I made the decision to let Kylian go, I had let myself think about things I never allowed myself to think about.
I know it is pretty early but would it be so bad to marry him, I mean he is single and I am about to be. He is handsome, hot, sexy, talented, caring, nice, hardworking, rich and above all, he pays attention to me. That is all I have ever wanted in a husband
But I was denied that
If Marcus would have me, I don’t mind becoming his woman. He looked at me and waved to me with a lovely smile. I waved back and then he continued what he was doing. I just kept staring at him and I know staring at him is probably creepy but I just couldn’t take my eyes off him. He is just so hot and handsome
“Handsome right?” a sullen voice with a British accent stated
“Yes” I replied with a chuckle. The fuck did I just say “I mean no” I looked at my side to find Marcus’s mom, Melanie. She laughs out loud
“Of course, he is” I finally confessed
“I know, he got my gene”
“Yeah, I can see that” She affirmed
“You have an amazing son, Mrs Rashford”
“I told you to call me, Melanie”
“I am sorry, I am sorry” I cracked in laughter.
“Marcus is amazing, I just wish he would settle down and have some couple of kids. That way I would stop worrying about him” she confessed with wistful look. I looked at him and sighed
“So, Marcus told me you are married” she asked. I nodded “But I see no ring on your finger”
I unconsciously touched where my ring should be and smiled but the smile didn’t stay long on my lips before it faded
“You know a married woman does not follow her male friend to another continent during the New Year when she is suppose to be with her husband if she intends to stay married”
I felt uncomfortable by what she said, then she came to my back
“And a man does not bring a woman who is just a friend to meet his family” she concluded. I looked at her trying to understand what she is trying to say, she just winked at me and walked away
