Second day of my new school. Sounds intimidating, but it's not, I'm prepared. I woke up at exactly 7 am. School starts at 8. Made myself a toast with a egg poach and some leftover fries from yesterday that I ate at night. I quickly showered and got ready. On my second day, technically, first day of actual class, I decided to throw on a white bodycon, just above my knees, it's a bit short but it falls under the dress code. Yes I double checked. I also put on yesterday's Varsity jacket on top, black boots to go with my black bagpack. Sounds too much? If you look at in real life, it's pretty minimalistic. I always make sure to make the perfect outfit, your style says a lot about you and I personally want to look very presentable on my first day.

I quickly made my way out of my room.
7:30. Thank freaking God. As I walked through the dorms, I spotted many students. Oh dear lord, some were still in their pajamas. Some were even whispering about the 'new girl'. Surprise surprise, yep that's me. I didn't really talk to anyone as I was anxious about getting to the RIGHT class in the RIGHT time.

I took a glance at my schedule and I had English on my 1st period. I looked at the map and quickly figured out in which building out of the 4, the English classroom was on. I passed the green lawns, looking at the many students walking, some sitting on the fountain and a few even sleeping on the lawn. I entered the building, made my way up the flight of stairs to reach right outside the classroom door. It was 7:55. I joined the classroom with a few more students. Most of them hadn't come yet but I was glad I was early. I found myself a seat on the third bench of the second row beside a Asian boy who looked extremely engaged in reading a Manga. None of us said a word. On my parallel bench, a girl with a rose blonde hair and a very cute appearance was sitting. She seemed kinda sweet.

"Hi, are you the new girl?" the same girl spoke out, and I was right, she was indeed very sweet. The tone in her voice said it all.

"Yeah that's me, hello, I'm Isabella Elstone, I just moved here yesterday."

"Nice name, mind if I call you Izzy?"

"Yeah no sure, most people prefer that actually".

"By the way, I am Grace, dorm 5, room 38."

"Oh nice, I'm from dorm 5, room 41".

"Speaking of rooms and all, how do you like this place?"

"It's amazing, the lawn, the main building, even the hallways are so fancy, definitely exceeds my expectations."

Just as we were speaking, the bell rang. An extremely attractive looking man entered the classroom. The average English teacher from the movies. It seemed like he was quite young, about in his early twenties. The class went by quite fast, he was a good teacher I would say. I answered a few questions, he seemed impressed by my knowledge, after all, the new girl did not disappoint.
After the bell rang, everyone went out, I was heading out too when he called "Miss Elstone, listen".

"Yeah Mr. Howards?"

"You are the new student aren't you? You seem extremely intelligent, the way you answered those questions, oh boy you were good". He let out a small laugh.

I laughed back, replying "Yes I am in fact the new student, and also thanks alot Mr. Howards".

"Also if you need anything, I am here, consider me as an older brother if not a friend."

"Yeah ofcourse".

He gave me a side pat hugging me and I went my way out of the class. He seemed really sweet and friendly. The interaction also felt quite brotherly than teacherly. After all he is not all that older than me.

Next period was Maths, as stated in my schedule. One of my strongest subjects I must say. I was quite confident as I walked into class. I spotted Caden in the corner of the classroom as I took a seat in the front bench as all the other seats were taken. Caden gave me a bright smile. I smiled back. He looked so cute with his blonde hair brushing over his face. He gave me major golden retriever energy. As the bell rang, the maths teacher entered, who looked quite grave if I were to be honest.
