As we settled into our usual spot at the café, the soft hum of conversation around us felt comforting, almost like a blanket wrapping us in warmth. The dim lighting cast a cozy glow, making everything feel intimate. I looked over at Mingi, who was stirring his drink, a playful grin on his face.
"You know, I've been thinking a lot about San and Wooyoung," I said, breaking the comfortable silence. Mingi's eyes lit up, instantly attentive.
"Same here! They really clicked when we were over there," Mingi replied, leaning forward. "It's like they found a part of themselves in each other. Did you see the way San looked at him?"
"Exactly! It's like there was this connection—this understanding. I think they could really help each other," I said, feeling a swell of excitement.
Mingi nodded, his expression serious. "They both need that kind of support. Wooyoung's been through so much, and San is just... he's so genuine. I can see him wanting to be there for Wooyoung."
I took a sip of my drink, my thoughts racing. "They both deserve happiness. Wooyoung's had it rough, hiding away for so long, and San... he's so compassionate. If anyone can break through Wooyoung's walls, it's him."
Mingi smiled softly, reaching out to squeeze my hand. "I love that you see this, Yunho. It's beautiful, really. Just like us," he said, a teasing glint in his eye. I felt my cheeks warm at his words, a flutter of affection blooming within me.
"Yeah, just like us," I echoed, gazing into his eyes. "I can't help but think that if we support them, they might just find what they've been searching for."
Mingi's face lit up. "We should totally encourage them! Maybe we can set up some more hangouts, help them get comfortable with each other. Imagine how amazing it would be to see them together, exploring life and being themselves."
"Absolutely," I said, my mind racing with ideas. "We could plan a picnic or a day at the park—something low-pressure where they can just be themselves."
Mingi chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "And if things go well, maybe we could throw in a little matchmaking magic. You know, give them a little nudge in the right direction."
I couldn't help but laugh. "We might need a little magic ourselves! But seriously, I think they would both appreciate the chance to let their guards down. They could really find solace in one another."
Mingi's gaze softened as he looked at me. "I love how much you care about them, Yunho. It's one of the things that made me fall for you," he said, his voice laced with sincerity. I felt my heart skip a beat.
"You're not so bad yourself, you know," I replied, squeezing his hand back. "You've always been there to lift me up and remind me of what really matters."
He leaned closer, his playful demeanor shifting to something more tender. "Well, as long as we're supporting each other, I know we can help San and Wooyoung too. We're a team in this, and I want to see all of us happy."
"Me too," I said, my heart swelling with gratitude. The love we shared felt like a guiding light, and I wanted to pass that warmth on to San and Wooyoung.
As we chatted, the café around us faded into the background. It was just us, a couple in love, dreaming of the possibilities for our friends. I could picture it—the laughter, the connection, the freedom they could find together.
With each word exchanged, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. Tomorrow, we'd take the first steps toward bringing San and Wooyoung together. I could hardly wait to see how their story would unfold, and how our little circle of friends would grow even closer in the process.
