Riani's POV:

So I have been sitting in dumb ass meeting room for 20 minutes because Ashley dragged me here claiming that I was now a part of the Seven. No one knows why we are eying having a meeting but I bet it's about the Japanese women that Reggie failed to capture. I was sitting next to Black Noir who was drawing in his little notebook. Starlight, who I can now call Annie, is apparently in a little relationship with Hughie, they look cute and innocent. At least he finally found some peace from Robin's death.

Reggie finally walked in after making me sit in this awkward room for so long. He stopped walking before he could reach the table and said, "What's going on?" which caused Homelander to finally walk in and say "I missed you guys." but he was only looking at Reggie. He placed a hand on Reggie's shoulder and smiled saying "Just wanted to see your smiling faces. Take a seat buddy." he finished saying. Reggie looked at me but I just shook my head and he walked to sit in between Maeve and Annie while Homelander walked to stand in front of the table with his hands behind his back.

"And, truth be known, I felt like we were overdue a little heart-to-heart. A rap session, maybe a little tough love." Homelander said as he looked at all of us but I could tell that his eyes were mostly on his right side. Maeve scoffed and said "What's that supposed to mean?" Homelander just sighed before saying, "It means that lately, some of you have been, eh, a little out of sorts." as he walked behind Annie.

"Erratic" he said looking towards Annie. "Unreliable," he said walking behind Reggie. "Down right sloppy." He said walking past Maeve. "Not you, Noir. You've been great." He said pointing at Black Noir. He then looked at me and pointed and said "I don't know yet, so far so good." He kept walking as he was talking and said, "But the rest of you... It is fair to say that I am disappointed." He then stopped in the middle of where me and Noir were sitting.

"Got to keep your eye on the ball, guys. The enemies are storming the gates. I mean we're not even The Seven anymore, we're down to five. No.. Six now because we now have a new member welcome Enchanted Rose to the Seven... officially." he said motioning towards me at the last statement causing me to smile and wave a little because that was what I was taught just smile and wave.. smile and wave

"But back to the subject at hand... We're dropping like fucking flies, but at least.. now I know why." He said with his hand now suddenly having a remote pointed at the TV in the middle of the room. I looked at the screen and everyone else did. Hughie is on the fucking screen, which tells me that his little group is now an enemy of The Seven.. officially.

"Eh.. Why?.. Is this a joke? Why is Hughie up there?" Annie said confused after she noticed that the man she had been talking to is on the screen. "I don't understand. Who is this guy?" Maeve asked in boredom more so because she was called to a meeting for some random guy. "This guy is Hugh Campbell. He and Starlight are going steady." Homelander said pointing to the picture of Hughie on the screen causing everyone to turn and look at her, me included because I don't want to make it look weird.

With everyone staring at her like he wanted, Homelander then said "He's also one of the guys who killed Translucent." as he was walking in front of the screen, which he said so casually. "Wait, what?" Annie said in confusion which is the only thing she could be feeling right now. "As well as blackmailing Mesmer, Ezekiel, Popclaw and God knows who else." Homelander said as he stopped in front of Annie and Reggie and he looked towards Reggie when he said Popclaw. I almost forgot that he killed Popclaw.. but I don't really care because she was the one to get Reggie on drugs when they met and then she moved it to compound V.

"Popclaw?" Reggie asked while Annies just started to say No over and over before saying, "You.. That-that is insane." At least she is trying to protect her man unlike Reggie did with Popclaw. "Starlight, sticks and stones won't break my bones, but words.." Homeslander said putting his hand on her chest, 'Nigga please' I thought to myself rolling my eyes and crossing my arms before focusing back on the subject at hand. "No, sir. I'm sorry. I wasn't... It's just he's not.." Annie apologizes before trying to defend Hughie again but Homelander just gives her a look. "I mean why would he do that?" Annie asked, trying to find a way for Hughie to be a manipulator and a killer.

"Good question. A-Train, over to you." Homelander said motioning towards Reggie but Reggie was confused on why he was being brought to the table, which caused me to shake my head because how could you forget that you killed someone's girlfriend less than a month ago. "What?" Reggie asks in confusion. "Oh, boy. That little egg of yours is still scrambled, huh?" Homelander said before zooming out of the picture. As he was doing so I said "Yes it is" under my breath but only Black Noir heard me because everyone else was focused on Homelander.

"How about now?" Homelander asked after he zoomed the picture out for everyone to see. Reggie sat up more and said "Oh, shit. I know this guy." upon seeing the full picture. "You did smash through his girlfriend." Me and Homelander said in unison, which was weird by the way. Homelander continued to talk but Reggie gave me an offended look causing me to just look at him. "-or whatever." Homelander ended his sentence. "I.. I remember now, I..I've seen him outside of Popclaw's place. He was all in my face." Reggie said after finally remembering him fully.

"Well you killed his girlfriend sooo.. maybe he was fucking yours?" I said just so that I could get under Reggie's skin and because I knew how much of a hoe that Popclaw was. "Ria- You're fucking this guy!" He said pointing at me at first but after seeing my face he just changed his direction of anger at Annie. "St-.. Okay, slow down. I don't know what's going on, but Hughie is not capable of anything close to this." Annie said, 'Girl you barely know him.' I thought to myself looking at Annie, and after that I just zoned out playing with my nails.

I only paid attention again, after Annie stood up and Homelander started to turn on his laser beams. "Now.. I know that you want to make this, The Deep thing all an "All the single ladies" comment. Power, right?" Homelander said as he walked past Annie after he gave her a fist bump on the shoulder. "But really, what you've done is pulled off every criminal's wet dream. I mean the Seven is down by one. I just can't help noticing that it all started when you came along, which makes me wonder, which one of us is next, hmm? Homelander said ending with his arms going up. 'Not me!'

"You bitch." Reggie said, looking at Annie. "Woah-" I started to say after hearing that bitch word but Annie cut me off and said, "I didn't do anything!" looking at Homelander. Homelander then said, "Enough! we're a different fucking breed. We shine with the golden light of providence, but you, you've been helping these fucking mud people to go against us." asking up to Annie as she stood up and backed up. She tried to protest but Homelander just cut her off saying, "Shut your fucking mouth, young lady. if you were in my position.." At this point I said fuck it and just started to make a flower head crown because I could tell Maeve was going to stop. Homelander and she was one of the only ones to stop him before. I was done when I heard Homelander say that the meeting was done so I gave the flower crown to Noir because it was black and white with roses, and I left. 'too much animosity in that fucking room.'
