Riani's POV:
I was at the hospital watching over Reggie, because they said that he was found with a heart attack, when he was on a mission. And Annie was the one to find him. I haven't come across Annie this whole time, and I think it's because she may think that I would want to fight her if I found out that she is the reason he even had a heart attack. But I'm pretty sure it's because of the fucking Compound V that was in his system.
We had a pretend funeral for Translucent, the casket was fucking empty but they didn't know that not even his son. They made me make the flowers, and initially I was going to stay but then I had to go and check on someone.. guess who..
You guessed wrong, it was Teddy. Because Stillwell is fucking dead, and when they went looking for her baby, Homelander decided that he was told to get me to watch the baby because she had personal matters to attend to that night. So they decided that since Stillwell wanted me to watch Teddy during that time that I was going to be the legal guardian.
And I only agreed because they told me that since she didn't have any immediate family, or at least family that could take him in, it was either me or foster care. And so I decided that the least I could do is foster him, because I have witnessed first hand with other kids how bad foster care can change you. Especially if Stillwell was capable of pumping her son with Compound V then I wasn't going to allow him to go to any foster home for supes and then get treated wrong if he had the opportunity to be with me.

Narrator's POV:
On the Tv was the news reporting the crimes that had happened previously and what was the most important crime. "But that's exactly what William Butcher did. He murdered Vought Vice President Madelyn Stillwell using upwards of 30 pounds of C-4. Why would William Butcher do it? Disgruntled, perhaps, over his deceased wife, a former Vought employee. And why did Madelyn Stillwell ask one of the Members from the Seven to watch her baby for the weekend? Perhaps, she felt in her spirit that something was going to happen and so she trusted Enchanted Rose to take care of him?" The news reporter said, as he walked along the outside of Madeyln's apartment and showed photos of Riani with Teddy while leaving the Vought Tower, after learning about her death.
"It is a puzzle. Where is Monsieur Charcuterie? Why hasn't he called?" Frenchie said as he was watching the news with the rest of the gang minus Butcher. "Who cares?" Hughie said over everything that Butcher keeps doing. "He could be dead. " Frenchie said as he kept leaning on the pillar behind him.
Hughie just started to laugh a little and said, "No, he's too much an asshole to die..." but Mm just shunned them because he was still watching the news and saw that they were on the screen. ".. or any of his known associates, Marvin Milk, Hugh Campbell, or this man, whose real identity is unknown- please call 1-888-0-CRIMES." The news reporter said before he was cut off by M who put his head in his hands saying, "Christ. We gotta get out of here, now."
"Good passports do not come cheap. I sell the RPGs, smuggle in the Kalashnikovs. We have enough money. That's it...Where will you go, Petit Hughie?" Frenchie said before asking Hughie who looked like he was about to have a panic attack. "Could just stay here with Frenchie's gangbanger friends. The cots, they got 31 flavors of semen on them. You'll love 'em. " MM said, while throwing shots to Frenchie and his friends, who were making his OCD act up.
"Oh, and you have a better idea? No, maybe we can't stay, all of us, in your mother's asshole" Frenchie said, taking up for the spot that he got them to be able to stay in for the time being. "Or.. we could not run." Hughie said, which caused Frenhie to say, "You are like a record that's broken." But Hughie still wanted to plead his case and so he said, "Well, we shouldn't just give up. Guys, we get some Compound V, we-we bring it to The New York Times, we burn Vought to the ground."
"You got some V Hughie? Cause I don't.." Mm said as he just shook his head at what was being said. "We could get some. Someone could help us get it." Hughie said, which caused MM to squint his eyes at him and say, "And who might that be?" but he already had an incline on who it would be. It was between Starlight and Enchanted Rose, Starlight because he likes her and Enchanted Rose because of what happened to A-Train after he used it.
"You did not hear that television? We are famous now. Butcher even more so." Frenchie said because he also realized what Hughie was thinking. "Fuck Butcher! We don't need him." Hughie just replied because he didn't like the trouble that he brought to their lives. "A-Train had Hannibal. Dirty Dozen, Lee Martin. Beatles, Brian Epstein." Frenchie said, trying to explain that they would need a leader. High was still trying to make them go with the idea that he presented until MM had enough and stood up, "Shut the fuck up. This is over!" He said as he walked towards Hughie before walking away before he got even more angry and stressed out with the situation.

~ Writing this made me realize how much I like to make it where my OC has a baby or kids, but she doesn't have them biologically at least not until the end of the story if I follow a plot from a tv show, and it's more so she has them by adopting them after something traumatic happens or them being related to her by family or friends who can't take care of them.
~ I think this is my way of making my stories have a pregnancy trope without having to write the pregnancy. But don't worry not all of my stories are like this, just ones where I feel as though it would fit well with my OC!
