Riani's POV:
So for some reason there is a new member of the Seven and she is apparently replacing The Deep because he wasn't coming back anytime soon, even though he doesn't know that. For some reason I couldn't read her mind and it reminded me of Homelander's even though I can read his mind. Whenever I try to read their minds I get static but at least I can still catch some of Homelander's, but afterwards I just chalked it up to having to do with her powers being electric.
We were having a get together today because now The Seven has four girls who are here to stay, and in Ashley's mind we are over powering the men due to it being a ratio of 4:3. We took our pictures after Annie was the one who was decided to do the intros for all of the news channels. After taking our pictures, we went with Ashley, so that we could continue with the schedule for the day. I wasn't paying attention when Ashley was going on about what we were going to do today, because I was texting my nephews in our group chat.
They both were asking me to pick them up and let them stay with me for the weekend, even though I just took them home after school yesterday because they stayed with me for the week. I only paid attention once, I saw that Maeve walked away saying that she had a family emergency. "Maeve, we've never had four women in The Seven before. This is a moment. Girls get it done! You are not..!" Ashley said before she was cut off by the elevator closing on her.
"I have a family emergency too." Stormfront said after she saw that Maeve was able to leave and not forced to come back. Which made me and Annie laugh but Ashley just gave Stormfront a black look before telling us to come one and started to walk to where we hold conferences sometimes.
When we got there, I was going to sit next to Maeve on the right end because it was closer to the door but since she left, Ashley made me sit in the middle. There were different producers from almost every news channel we were going to be on, but they mostly had all of the same questions. They kept asking if Starlight was single and kept asking Stormfront about how she felt about replacing somebody and being in the Seven. But for me they keep asking about how Teddy was somehow put in my care and if I knew about what Butcher was going to do to his mother.
