Clem and Aisha had just been told to
'unflinch' the class, clem cringed each time she had to punch someone but when Hawk stepped up to her she sighed. "I can't," she hesitated 

"Neither of us wants this, but I'd rather you punch me,that way i know it's not personal..." Hawk whispered close to clem. "this is very personal... you never gave me back my spiderman comic" clem said sarcastically, haw gave a small chuckle,"okay..."She nodded, shutting her eyes tight and taking a deep breath before pulling her arm back and directing her fist at his face.  She opened her eyes with a small gasp as she saw him on the floor, covering his busted lip. Her throat ached with regret "el- " she stopped herself"- hawk, oh my god. I'm sorry. " she reached forward her hand, reaching for his face. She cupped his jaw, pulling his lip down with her thumb

"shit. C'mon... Let's go get the first aid kit. Aisha, can you finish my group up?" she looked to the Robinson girl. She nodded, clem and Hawk walked to johnny's office. " I'm fine," he groaned. "Fine?!  Your teeth went through your lip!' she knocked on the open door  stopping the boys mid-conversation " sorry, I just need the first aid, i- uh busted hawks lip" she gestured to the boy who wasn't standing too far behind " i'm fine, i don't need to be fixed up" hawk said, clem rolling her eyes." It's right here," Johnny reached under his desk and held out the first aid box. She snatched it with a small 'thanks' before walking out and leading the hawk to the bathroom. 

"Sit." she nodded towards the bathroom counter as she laid the kit down. Hawk sat, and clem clicked open the kit, sighing when she saw about four bandaids, a half-empty bottle of alcohol, and a tube of Neosporin that had to have been from the 80s. " clem, I don't need this. i'm fine." Hawk scoffed out a laugh."eli,i love you, but you are so stubborn," she laughed. " Hawk..." he gritted, she shook her head." Right, sorry, " she sighed 

 she soaked a cotton ball in alcohol," here " she looked up at hawk, reaching for his face.  she patted the cotton lightly on his lip, he hissed. " sorry" she apologized.

 she finished cleaning up the wound and put some neosporin on it, digging around the box she found a butterfly band aid.  she took the white bandage and stretched it from one side of the wound to the other. hawk tried to make it obvious he wasn't staring at clem, there close proximity making it difficult. clem  stepped back "there" she kissed her palm" all better" she tapped his cheek. hawk smiled his cheeks turning a light red "thanks" he said quietly.

 she cleaned up the kit stuff and  walked out of the bathroom hawk following behind , she left the kit out for the ones who needed it after  aishias brutal punches.

 after class the two sat in the parking lot for a moment, clem texting demetri about their weekend plans. "hey, do you remember that guy who got you the fake id? is that the same one who did your tattoo?" hawk asked "rico? yeah. why?" clem asked looking up from her phone " you think he could hook me up?" hawk asked, clem nodded" yeah for sure. you want me to drive you to his shop tomorrow?" hawk nodded " how about today?" he asked. clem raised her eyebrows " yeah" she scoffed out a laugh, in disbelief. " you sure you want this? have you thought about this?" she asked 

 hawk tilted his head"eh. but yeah i wanna do it! it'll look badass" he said, clem took a deep breath and started there drive.

they walked in the door, the bell notifying the man that someone was there. rico looked up seeing the two "hey, clem what's up? come back for another tattoo? or did they take your fake again?" rico asked dapping up the girl " i'm actually here for him."clem motioned to hawk who was standing just behind her. "can you hook him up?"she asked, rico nodded"for sure, what are you looking for ?" rico faced hawk , "i kind of want a hawk on my back, and then can you put a mohawk on it, in the same color as mine? and i was also looking for a fake" hawk asked, rico nodded"thanks bro" hawk fist bumped rico.
