Bella's POV

Our days in Vancouver passed in a blur of laughter, stolen kisses, and endless conversations. Each moment felt like a gift, a chance to discover new pieces of each other and to share more of ourselves. We spent our mornings exploring the city, wandering through small bookstores and art galleries, our hands intertwined as we soaked in the vibrant energy around us.

One evening, we found ourselves back at the harbor, watching the sun sink below the horizon. I leaned against his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his hand resting on mine, and I felt a surge of gratitude, a deep sense of peace.

"What are you thinking about?" he asked, his voice a soft murmur in the quiet.

"I'm thinking about how right this feels," I replied, turning to look at him. "I never thought I'd find this, find someone like you."

He smiled, a glimmer of mischief in his eyes. "Well, you did. And I'm not going anywhere, Bella. I'm yours for as long as you'll have me."

I reached up, brushing a strand of hair from his face, my heart swelling with a love that felt both terrifying and exhilarating. "I think that might be forever, George."

He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close as we stood in the fading light, our future stretching out before us. We talked about what would come next, about making plans to see each other again, about the possibility of closing the distance between us. It felt surreal, and yet, with him by my side, I knew that anything was possible.

As our time in Vancouver drew to a close, we made a pact-to write every day, to share our lives as if the miles between us didn't exist. And though parting felt like leaving a piece of my heart behind, I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey.

I kissed him goodbye, promising to see him again soon, and as I boarded the bus back to Forks, I felt a sense of hope I hadn't felt in a long time. George and I were building something beautiful, something worth fighting for. And as I looked out the window, watching the city fade into the distance, I knew, deep down, that our story was far from over.
