Three Years Later

The soft light of the early morning streamed through the trees, casting a warm glow over the meadow where I stood, my heart racing with anticipation. Today was the day I'd dreamed of, the day I would become Bella Weasley, and as I looked around at the small gathering of family and friends, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and joy.

George and I had chosen this spot together, a quiet clearing near the edge of the forest in Forks, a place that felt like a perfect blend of both our worlds. We'd spent the past few years building a life together, traveling between England and Forks, sharing moments with our families, and weaving magic into the everyday. He'd taught me everything he could about his world, and I'd shown him the quiet beauty of mine.

Today, we would officially join our lives, surrounded by the people we loved.

I watched as George stepped into the clearing, his face breaking into a wide grin the moment he saw me. He looked handsome in a simple, dark suit, his red hair catching the light, his eyes filled with a love that took my breath away. As he walked toward me, I felt my nerves fade, replaced by a quiet certainty that this was exactly where I was meant to be.

Charlie stood beside me, his expression a mixture of pride and emotion. He'd taken to George like a father to a son, and their bond had become something I treasured. I glanced at him, and he gave me a reassuring nod, his smile soft.

The ceremony was simple, with George's family on one side, my family on the other, and just a handful of friends gathered around. Molly wept quietly, clutching Arthur's hand, while Fred and Ron shot George encouraging grins. Ginny gave me a small, knowing smile, and I felt a surge of gratitude for the family I'd gained, for the love that had carried me to this moment.

When the time came for our vows, George took my hands in his, his eyes never leaving mine.

"Bella," he began, his voice steady, full of emotion. "You've brought more light into my life than I ever thought possible. You're my best friend, my love, and my future. Today, I promise to stand by your side, to love you through every adventure, and to hold you close, always."

Tears filled my eyes as I spoke my own vows, my voice trembling with emotion. "George, you've shown me a world I never knew existed, and you've filled my heart with a love I never thought I'd find. I promise to share every part of my life with you, to build a future full of joy and laughter, and to love you, always."

The officiant, a local friend of Charlie's, pronounced us husband and wife, and as George leaned in to kiss me, I felt a surge of warmth, of certainty, of love so deep it was almost overwhelming. The meadow around us erupted in cheers, and as I looked around at our family and friends, I knew that this was the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.
