Home
It was nine am on a Sunday morning and I was up cooking breakfast for me and Staffani. I was starved.
I got up a little early to work out in my basement with Tiger and Lion. Skunk followed also, since he was off since last night and Staffani is still sleeping.
"No, Kenji," I said on the phone.
He keeps asking if I am bringing Staffani to our granny Betty house for Christmas.
No, it's a five hour drive to the countryside, she can't stay in the car that long. Way too long for her.
"Cuh, I said I was sorry shit damn," he said.
"Whatever, Kenji."
"So, you still mad?"
"You was disrespectful for nothing. She haven't done nothing to me, I get it you got my back but come on?"
"Okay. Cuh, damn. I will apologize to her face and shit. Is that cetter?"
"Here you...fine, thank you Ji," I said.
He just hung up because he is dumb, and he knows I am right.
I could feel a presence behind me, then soon her arms wrapped around my waist.
"Morning, stride," she said kissing my back. "I love this tattoo, its so beautiful," she said.
"Thank you, and morning. I cooked, pancakes are now also done," I said putting the last one on the plate.
"I see, it smells so good in here," she said letting me go.
"How did you sleep?" I asked.
"Okay, I felt a little restless." She picked up an empty plate and sat at the island.
"Same, I'm not sure what it was," I said.
"Maybe because we had a real spat. We didn't even cuddle, last night," she said.
"Really? I couldn't sleep because we had a spat, to where you broke up with me, and ignore me for like forty eight hours? And went to Orlando, and then came back the next day?" I smiled.
Courtney told me she left with her, but went off on everyone and came back.
"Don't bring up Courtney, and yes, but it's okay, we got through right?" She asked me.
