Yuji and I have decided to offer to let you read this journal because we trust you. The binding vow we made you take before handing you this journal is for both our protection and your's.
We have dangerous secrets. If at any point you decide not to continue reading or if you finish reading this journal and decide you want nothing to do with this, Yuji and I will both respect your choice.

A lot of what we have to say will sound unbelievable. Whether you believe us or not is up to you.

The first thing you should know is that the names Zen'in Kei and Kusuga Yuji are both aliases. My name is Fushiguro Megumi. Yuji's is Itadori Yuji.

The second thing you should know is that Yuji and I are from 2018.

On November 3, 2018, Yuji and I were visiting Master Tengen with a few others and we were separated from them. As we attempted to leave the Star Corridor, we accidentally picked the wrong door and fell through a wormhole in time. We arrived on March 21st, 2007 and Gojo found us in the training field on school grounds.

We explained what happened to Gojo and then told him about the future. He hid us in the guest house the upper years use for parties for the first two weeks after we arrived in the past. Seeing as we had no idea how to get back to our time, Yuji and I decided to stay in the past and work to change the future.

The future is shit by the way.

The problems, as far as we can tell, started when Gojo and Geto fought my father, Fushiguro Toji in 2006. The failure to protect Amanai Riko and for her to merge with Master Tengen had consequences. One of which was that Master Tengen went through a sort of forced evolution. He's now more cursed spirit than human by 2018. Master Tengen has managed to retain most of his humanity, but this has created an issue in the future due to the emergence of a curse user named Kenjaku.

Kenjaku is a curse user that has been around since at least the Heian Era. He possesses a technique which allows him to switch bodies by implanting his brain into another person's body. When he gains control of a new body, he also gains the ability to use that person's cursed technique. He can be recognized in any body by the row of stitches his host body will have across their forehead.

We are not currently sure whose body Kenjaku is possessing in 2007, though we do know who he has recently possessed.

At some point in the recent past, and possibly still currently, Kenjaku possessed a woman named Itadori Kaori during her pregnancy. Kenjaku, while possessing Kaori, then gave birth to a boy named Itadori Yuji.

In the past, Kenjaku possessed another body by the name of Kamo Noritoshi. It was Kenjaku, not Kamo, that was responsible for the Cursed Womb Death Paintings. Yuji is the result of a similar experiment by Kenjaku, though he's still completely human. Before he became a sorcerer, the only sign that Yuji could be anything other than human was his physical abilities, which are similar to that of someone with a Heavenly Restriction such as Fushiguro Toji.

We know that at some point between December 24, 2017 and October 31, 2018 that Kenjaku switched bodies again to the one he currently possessed in our future. The body that he possesses has the technique of Cursed Spirit Manipulation.

On October 31, 2018, Yuji personally fought against Kenjaku while he was possessing the body of Geto Suguru.

In September of 2007, Geto Suguru killed 112 villagers and then later his own parents, becoming a curse user. For years, he gathered money, power, and followers while acting as a cult leader and killing countless non-sorcerers. His aim was the complete genocide of all non-sorcerers. On December 24, 2017, he led a terrorist attack on the cities of Tokyo and Kyoto as well as Tokyo Jujutsu Tech. He unleashed 100 grade 2 curses and above in the cities and then personally targeted Jujutsu Tech himself. His goal was a first year special grade sorcerer named Okkotsu Yuta. Okkotsu was in possession of a special grade curse named Rika, who became known as the Queen of Curses. Geto, attempting to kill Okkotsu in an attempt to take Rika for himself, lost the fight and was found bleeding out in an alley by Gojo Satoru.
