After my surgery I wake up and my body aches all over with surging pain. I start to moan and groan for the nurse to come give my come pain medicine. The nurse gives me the medicine and rolls me back down to my room when I find my mom waiting for me. Mom comes over to give me a big bear hug but when she does, a rush of pain shoots to where my operation was done. "Ouch", I scream as mom quickly pulls away. The nurse brings me on a bowl of ice cream and a small glass of milk, and as I slurp up my ice cream I watch some T.V. The Voice is on so I watch that, it's one of the final episodes on and I was told I will be on The Voice for my Wish on the very final episode. As time goes by all I do is watch tv when nurse Angie comes in and says "Your flight leaves tomorrow morning for California"". "Hooray, Hooray", I scream. I start packing everything I have in my suitcase that mom bought just for this vacation. After I'm done packing, I'm so tired out that I just go to bed right away.
