AASHIVIK
I sat in my dimly lit office, the faint glow of the city filtering through the heavy curtains. The air was thick with the smell of cigar smoke and the lingering tension of unfinished deals. Papers lay scattered on my desk, detailing shipments, deals, and debts that needed settling. This was my domain, where every move was calculated, and every word held weight.
My mind keeps replaying the morning scenes of us, My little moon likes me, she likes me oh my god. She kissed my cheeks too, I looked at my handkerchief, on my hand, with the print of her lips, it didn't have any prominent mark as she was wearing lipgloss, but the shiny patch of her lip on my cheek was so damn cute, though I wanted to keep that on I don't want others to see how perfect her lip marks are.
I know I am being crazy but this is the truth, I want to have her in every possible way, and rest I don't care about a fuck. She is the one I desire.
Oh freak, she kissed me, I cannot stop touching my cheeks again and again where she had her lips, the sensation is still strong.
My phone buzzed on the surface, interrupting the silence like an unwelcome intrusion. I glanced at the caller ID—Kabir. Normally, his calls were routine updates on operations or minor issues, and he knows that I am with other mafias, he won't call until it's urgent but today seemed different. I swiped to answer, my tone clipped and expectant.
"What is it, Kabir?" I asked looking at the two don's who just signed the contract of working under me.
"Boss, she's not here," Kabir's voice crackled with urgency on the other end, who is not here. And why he is so worried, maybe Sara. "Boss, bhabhi, is not here" Kabir explained quickly, sensing my growing agitation.
What the fuck.
"She was supposed to be at Mishti's place with Sara, but they're all gone. It looks like she might have run away." he answered the questions I was about to ask. She left the mansion and I don't know this, what the hell is wrong with Kabir and the fucking security.
The words hit me like a blow to the gut. "What do you mean, run away?" I demanded, my voice low and dangerous.
"Boss we found, a rope from the backside balcony which means, she ran away from there, and her friends are not here too and Sara too" Kabir replied and My mind raced. Could she have found out? Does she know? But she confessed she liked me this morning. I know she can never run away from me. A cold sweat broke out on my forehead as I tried to process the implications.
"Trace her phone," I ordered sharply, cutting through the chaos in my mind. "Now."
There was a pause on the other end, the crackling silence stretching taut like a wire ready to snap. "I... I'll get on it," Kabir replied finally, his voice tight with fear. I slammed the phone down, the sound reverberating in the quiet room. Rage boiled beneath the surface, mingling with fear and betrayal. How could she do this?
No, I know her she cannot run, but what if she is in some kind of danger?
Without thinking, I shoved aside the papers on my desk and stormed out of the office. My footsteps echoed in the empty hallway as I made my way to the garage. Sliding into the driver's seat, my hands gripped the steering wheel tightly. The engine roared to life, matching the turmoil inside me. I tore out of the underground parking lot, tyres screeching against the concrete as I raced through the city streets.
The streets blurred past as I drove recklessly towards Mishti's house. The pounding of my heart drowned out the city's sounds—honking horns, distant sirens, the murmur of people.
