"Grayson Michael!" His mom yells storming into the room "did you use your alpha power on your sister?" His mom asks furiously "hi to you too mom" he greets sarcastically standing up.

"Grayson" she scolds him "yes" he sighs "I used my alpha power on her, but she deserved it, she wouldn't fucking listen" he defends himself "that is not an excuse!" "She was trying to use Lacey against me!" He roars at his mother making her back up slightly at his tone.

"I won't have Lacey pitted against me no matter how fucking trivial the matter!" He roars again his breathing getting heavier "I thought I had made myself clear" "she wasn't trying to" "bullshit!" He growls "I fucking told her I didn't have to listen to her and her exact words were "but you'll listen to Lacey" and then she had the nerve to fucking order Lacey" he seethes getting angrier with every word, his mom backing up more.

She actually looks terrified as I grab Gray's hand wrapping my arms around his arm "Gray" I say softly but I know he can hear me and judging by the look on his moms face I know she heard me to great, why does everyone always look at me like that. Gray's whole body visibly relaxes and he takes a couple of deep breaths "amazing" his mom breaths "out" Gray grumbles pulling me into him burying his face in my neck taking a deep breath as I wrap my arms around him.

"Why did you do that?" He mumbles into my neck sending shivers through my body "because you looked really angry" I say wrapping my arms around his neck "that's because I was" he says wrapping his hands around my thighs picking me up "Gray!" I squeal clinging tighter to his neck. Gray just laughs carrying me back to the bed kissing me "your mom is downstairs" I tell him pushing on his chest "so" he brushes it off kissing me again "Gray" I say pushing on his chest again.

"I don't want to go deal with my family, I'm still pissed at them" he groans pulling away "your mom literally looked terrified" I tell him running my hand along his cheek "she was worried about you" he says turning his head to kiss my hand "why was she worried about me?" I ask confused "because of how pissed I was, Colton is the only who will even attempt to calm me down when I'm like that, and normally it doesn't go to good for him" Gray chuckles but I just look at him confused.

"When an alpha gets pissed off there's pretty much no stopping him, me even more so. It's like all I see is red and I usually want to destroy anything or anyone in my path" "you wanted to destroy your mom?" I ask panicked "no baby, I would never do anything to hurt my family, no matter how much they piss me off" "but you" "like anyone I go through the different stages of anger, but when it comes to you or the safety of my pack I tend to loose it; and my family just loves to push me when it comes to you" "but why?" I'm so confused.

"It's not like I have some power over you" "but you do baby" Gray chuckles darkly "you are my greatest strength and my greatest weakness" "how?" "Like I explained earlier the more we are together the stronger it makes both of us and once we mate" "you already covered that part" I yell embarrassed Gray laughs at my outburst "I promise you'll love that part baby" Gray winks and my face lights up like a fire truck "Grayson!" I scold covering my face making Gray bust up laughing.

God it's a beautiful sound, he's so beautiful when he's all carefree and happy, focus Lacey I scold myself managing a glare when I look back at Gray "okay" Gray puts his hands up in surrender slowly wiping the smile off his face. "You being my strength also means your my weakness, baby you have the power to completely destroy me, and honestly it terrifies me, no one has ever had that kind of power over me" "but" "when I tell you I'm yours I mean it, I will literally do whatever you say and everyone knows it. Which is where you become my weakness."

"Gray you know it was just harmless right? That was just your sister picking at you" I tell him thinking back to the whole Gabby thing "yes, I know" he sighs running his hand through his hair "but if people see that they can use you to get to me that puts a target on you and I'm not willing to risk that" he says looking directly into my eyes "baby my world is very different from the human world, yes we coexist but I am a very powerful feared alpha, no one stands a chance against me or my pack; and there are a lot of people that are not happy about that, and until now there's nothing they could ever do about it, but now I have this beautiful soft spot" he tells me kissing me softly.
