Can i maintain my friendship with a boy without making him fall for me ? firstly, will i be able to find a male friend ? cause' my standards are high. this is Y/N and Felix. but Y/N name will be Rachel. Age rating 7+ but i will mention if there are...
The more Felix began hanging out with Rachel and her friends, the more something started to change within him. His feelings for her, once purely friendly, began to deepen into something more. At first, he tried to ignore it, brushing off his growing attraction to her as just admiration for how close they had become. But as the days turned into weeks, he found it harder to deny.
He enjoyed spending time with Rachel, whether it was casual coffee runs, study sessions at the library, or hanging out at her dorm with Rosé and Jennie. The more time he spent with her, the more he admired the little things-her laugh, the way she always made everyone feel comfortable, and her kind-hearted nature.
Rachel, meanwhile, remained blissfully unaware of his growing feelings. She treated him the same as always, a mixture of playfulness and affection that kept their friendship strong. But her friends, Rosé and Jennie, began to notice the subtle shift in Felix. The way his gaze lingered on Rachel a little longer, how he seemed more thoughtful whenever she spoke, and the gentle way he would look after her, even in the smallest ways.
One afternoon, while the group was lounging in Rachel's dorm room, Jennie leaned over to Rosé and whispered, "Do you think Felix... likes her? Like, really likes her?"
Rosé raised an eyebrow, glancing over at Felix, who was sitting next to Rachel, laughing at one of her jokes. "Oh, definitely," she whispered back. "It's obvious. I don't think he even realizes how much he's fallen for her."
Jennie smirked. "And Rachel? She's so clueless."
Rosé giggled softly. "She has no idea."
As the days went by, Felix struggled with his feelings more and more. He tried to keep things normal, to act like everything was fine. But every time Rachel smiled at him or teased him about something, he felt his heart race. He began to realize he was in deeper than he thought.
One evening, after a late-night study session, Rachel and Felix walked back to her dorm together. The campus was quiet, the cool breeze rustling through the trees. Rachel pulled her coat tighter around herself, glancing over at Felix.

"You've been a little off lately," she said, nudging him playfully. "Something on your mind?"
Felix smiled, but it didn't quite reach his eyes. "Just tired, I guess."
Rachel gave him a concerned look but didn't press further. "Well, don't overwork yourself. We've still got a lot of time before exams."
They reached her dorm, and as they stood at the entrance, Felix hesitated for a moment, staring at her. There was something he wanted to say, but the words wouldn't come out. Instead, he just smiled and said, "Thanks for tonight. I'll see you tomorrow."
Rachel smiled back, oblivious to the internal struggle he was facing. "See you tomorrow."
As Felix walked away, his heart ached. He didn't know how much longer he could keep his feelings hidden. The more time he spent with Rachel, the harder it became to pretend he wasn't in love with her.
But for now, he kept it to himself, unsure of how to move forward or how Rachel would react if she ever found out. All he knew was that, despite the growing feelings he was trying so hard to suppress, he couldn't imagine his life without her in it.
