"I'm sorry I dragged you into this..."
Stephen spoke as the two remained sat in the meeting room, trying to understand everything that had happened.
"No, hey-" (Y/n) replied, her head dipping down to meet his gaze reassuringly, "I think we can both agree that Stark's usual annoying personality is what's screwed us over." She giggled lightly, seeing him smile and join her with a nod in agreement.
"So... how are we going to do this?" He asked, his tone more confused than it was nervous.
They both shared a sigh, their sights roaming back over to the files on the desks in front of them, pages and pages of information pouring out in front of their eyes the more their hands flicked between them.
And at the back of (Y/n)'s file, she found a sleek silver thumb drive tucked in a small sleeve. She gently picked it up, letting the cool metal surface start to warm against the pads of her fingers. In thought, she started to turn it over, her thumb and index alternating the drive between the flatter top and bottom faces, and its thinner sides.
Stephen noticed this, his eyes staring at her mindless actions as they both sat there in silence, trying to come up with some sort of plan.
But then, (Y/n)'s hand stopped moving, snapping the drive back into her palm securely as she sat up. Her eyes glossed over some text refering to the restaurant before she spoke the information out loud.
"The restaurant opens at 6pm daily..."
She slowly turned her gaze towards Stephen as something started to formulate within her mind, his brows starting to knit together, not following her line of thought just yet.
"So..."
She started, dragging out her words, hoping it would prompt some sort of thought in his mind. But Stephen simply shook his head and waited for her to explain. So, with a slight sigh, "That means chefs and staff won't be in until about... 11."
Her brows were raised, hoping Stephen was finally starting to understand.
"Ok...?" He questioned.
And (Y/n) felt her eyes roll slightly, before she caught the glimpse of the watch on his wrist, and leaned over; her hand gently picking up his arm and turning it, and herself, at an awkward angle so she could read the time.
"That gives us approximately 3 hours before anyone should be on the property." She stated, lowering his arm and chancing one last glance towards him.
A slight devilish grin appeared on her lips once she clocked the gears starting to turn in Stephen's mind.
"You want to go... now?" He asked, a little sceptical about her plan, unsure if going against Roger's words was such a good idea.
"Think about it, Strange. We get in, transfer the data and get out before anyone even notices-"
"Then we don't have to agree to the stupid date..." He breathed the realisation out loud before they turned towards each other, then to the flash drive in her hand, eyeing it meticulously before they shared one last glance.
And they shared a grin, both mutually agreeing to their next steps, hoping to put this whole 'dating' thing to rest.

Not even an hour later, the two found themselves dressed in civilian clothes; a small backpack resting on Stephen's shoulders. They stood a couple blocks away from the tower at a bus stop, waiting alongside a decently sized crowd of individuals ready to get themselves to work.
"You know where we're going?" (Y/n) asked, seeing Stephen watching the passing traffic with a nod, his gaze transfixed on an approaching bus.
"This is us. You got the drive?" He asked, turning back to her briefly, just as the bus was coming to a stop in front of them.
