After his conversation with Rosé and Jennie, Felix couldn't shake the weight of their words. He knew they were right-avoiding Rachel wasn't solving anything. In fact, it was making things worse. But the fear of ruining their friendship still gnawed at him.
For the next few days, Felix tried to act normal around Rachel, keeping up their usual banter and casual conversations, but something was off. Rachel noticed, but she didn't say anything. She figured Felix might be stressed about school or something else he wasn't ready to talk about. She gave him space, but inside, she missed how things used to be-how easy and natural their friendship had always been.
One evening, as Rachel sat in her dorm room scrolling through her phone, she came across a picture of her and Felix at his birthday party. It was the night he had surprised her with the swing, and she remembered how special the moment had felt. A pang of worry hit her as she realized how distant Felix had been since then.

Rosé and Jennie were lounging on her bed, flipping through a fashion magazine.
"I feel like Felix has been acting weird," Rachel said suddenly, breaking the silence. She glanced over at her friends. "I mean, he's still Felix, but something's off."
Rosé and Jennie exchanged a quick look, but didn't say anything right away.
Jennie sat up, pretending to be casual. "We've noticed that too. Do you think something's bothering him?"
Rachel sighed. "I don't know. He says he's tired, but I feel like there's more to it."
Rosé bit her lip, debating whether or not to say anything. After a pause, she said, "Rach, have you thought about asking him what's really going on? Like, maybe he's dealing with something he doesn't want to talk about."
Rachel frowned, feeling uneasy. "I don't want to push him if he's not ready to talk. But I also don't want to lose him as a friend."
Jennie sighed, deciding it was time to nudge Rachel in the right direction. "I don't think you're going to lose him. Felix cares about you way too much. But... maybe there's something else going on. Something you're not seeing."
Rachel looked at her friends, confused. "What do you mean?"
Rosé and Jennie stayed quiet for a moment before Rosé finally said, "What if Felix feels more for you than just friendship?"
Rachel blinked, taken aback. "What? No, Felix and I are just friends. He's never said anything, or did he ?"
Jennie shrugged. "Maybe you think you guys arent, but what if he has said something? It would explain why he's been distant lately. He might be struggling with his feelings."
Rachel opened her mouth to protest but found herself thinking back to all the little moments between her and Felix-how he had always been there for her, the way his gaze lingered sometimes, and how he had gone out of his way to make her birthday special with the swing.
